Not what I was expecting

This device only will concert your tv to the wireless internet. If you don't have a smart tv that has capability to download apps like HBO, Netflix or similar options it's pointless.

Incompatible

There is nothing wrong with the product but it has limitations depending upon what model of Smart TV you have. In my case my Samsung Smart TV is about ten years old. Nothing wrong with the TV either, it's just too old to have the software required to receive certain streaming services. In my case, I wanted to stream Hulu. It is not available with this product. Samsung - WIS09ABGN - Older Technology

This is older technology & did not stay connected to Wi-Fi easily & had intermittent Wi-Fi connection issue, decided to purchase a 2018 (3rd Gen) Google Chromecast device, cheaper & works much easiser and doesn't drop Wi-Fi Connection & Does more than this Device.

Excellent product

My TV is down stairs and the router is upstairs so was worried the signal wouldn't carry that far but did with no issues.

May work for some

I was told this would connect my Samsung “Smart” TV to the internet via WiFi. We have satellite Directv so cannot hardwire. It did not work for me, maybe others
