It's not really for "dummies"

I bought this for someone who has never owned or used a smart phone. This book is fine if you already know the basics, the lingo, and have some knowledge of using this device. If you know nothing, it's not all that helpful. The recipient is a senior citizen who knew nothing about smart phones and I thought the book might be useful. It just confuses her more. I think if you already have used a smart phone and just want this as a reference to use as needed, it might be great for that. Useful but not complete

There is no mention of the App Edge, or how to place apps in or remove apps from this feature. No mention of SD card usage. Can photos be automatically stored on the SD card? There are many basic questions that remain unanswered by this book. It does cover the most basic operations with a reasonable level of detail, so it is a useful book for the Galaxy S8 beginner and possibly worth the price.Lire l'avis complet...

Great Basic Reference Guide

This is a great reference tool for the unfamiliar with smartphones in general. The final few chapters are more focused on the tools available with the S8.

What a lifesaver!

I don't know what I would do with out this book. I would be at sea, for sure. I knew nothing about it and it is totally different from the S 6 Edge that I had. This book is a lifesaver!
