Sometimes the Old Model is Better
My new 2015 model Samsung Smart TV's remote is a banana shaped wand with a presenter type pointer seen on the screen. It was cool at first, but soon the lack of direct channel access and other normal function buttons became sorely missed. The pointer wand required more steps to do the same one click functions. So I spent some time at the TV store looking at previous Samsung model TV's remotes, and with some sales help, selected this remote for its looks, functions, and compatibility with my TV. Recommended change
I would move the Smart TV control buttons up to the section where the volume and channel are now located as it is hard to operate these buttons when you have such a short section of the bottom of the remote in your hand in order to use these buttons. I actually returned the first 32 inch TV I bought last year because of the difficulty of holding the remote when streaming. I bought this TV because of the streaming feature where I use these buttons a lot more than channel or volume buttonsLire l'avis complet...

GREAT QUALITY REMOTE UNIT
Yes indeed!! My frustrations are over....upon opening this exact replacement controller, I was so excited that
it popped from my hands an flipped in the air only for me to catch it! After inserting the batteries, I gave it a go
and sure enough.......my TV lit up nicely, all functions including program (when needed) worked as expected.
I was tired of using an outdated controller whose buttons continually "stuck" or numerical buttons responded
radically by showing different numbers on my screen not even touched. The "feel" of this controller was very
nice, it felt new and it's performance was "exacting"......easy to read button values, and well made.

A great remote except the back lighting.
This is a nice replacement remote for my Samsung TV. It worked first time with out any problems. It is very easy to figure out. I would say it took 5 minutes to get everything up and running including programing all the channels I receive. The only thing I didn't like is the back lighting is poorly designed and not very helpful. The back lighting was not a deal breaker for me. The remote still works very well.Lire l'avis complet...

I really enjoyed purchasing this remote control! Though,I must admit that at first I was a bit uncertain of making the purchase. Sometimes many used technological items or sophisticated products are usually not at all in perfect condition when they are bought online. Second of all,this was my very first time I've done something like this,but I do not regret it one little bit. I feel very joyous and ecstatic,though they practically mean the very same thing! Despite this probably being a knock off of an official Samsung product, this works great especially for my needs and price. I didn't even need to program it as I only needed it to turn my TV on and off, adjust the volume (as well as other settings), and change the channel. Better than the Samsung remote that came with the TV
A perfect Samsung replacement. I use this instead of the remote that came with the TV. The remote that came with my new Samsung TV is terrible. It is the kind that you speak to.
