Perverted yet really good wrestling for the time.

The graphics and gameplay are great for the time and I haven't experienced any sort of glitch which makes this game hold up pretty well. And yes the game is pretty perverted especially with mud matches and humiliation moves but it is still a pretty good time. But if you want a good wrestling game I would recommend getting something more modern as this game has some issues like jank hit boxes and the like. Also do down, left, down, left, down, left, down, square, select if you want their swimsuit 1 outfits off the bat.Lire l'avis complet...

Rumble Roses

Alright, I admit the idea of beautiful, scantily clad women intrigued me. And at first glance, Rumble Roses may seem like just a jiggle fest. But the graphics make it much more than that. It has a moves animation system that I actually consider superior to some of the other fighting/wrestling games you see out there. Movement is fluid instead of choppy. And the extra polygon shading means has it's own individual look and feel. Unlike other games, where the characters all seem to be carbon copies of each other. And each wrestler has an alter ego that you can bring out with your good, (or bad), behavior in the ring. Adding a whole new dimension in gameplay.

Now if there is a downside to all this, it would have to be the lack of character customizing. It seems Konami put so much effort into making the graphics and animations so fluid and life-like, that they left this fun feature out. The moves they give you are the moves you must use. You can try changing you character's alignment, and thus giving her a whole new set of moves. This is fun. But it doesn't seem to be the same as choosing your moves yourself. Still, if they had sacrifice something in order to achieve the out of this world graphics of this game, I'm gald they chose as they did.

Rumble Roses...LETS GET READY TO MASTURBATE!

Ok. So, I have been looking for this game for a while now. And when I saw it on ebay I decided ot purchase it, and th echeap price didn't hurt! SO I get the game, and immediatly I love the graphics.
They reach out and grab you from the beggining. The entrances are some of the bets of ANY wrestling game i have ever played, and i have played them all! And the game play is pretty simple when you get down to it. And all those bouncing bodies, well you cna imagine. It is pretty hard to concentrate on all the ass kicking your doing.
Now to the problems I have had with the game. Ok there is no character cretion. I don't like that at all. I understand that they have a set story arch, but they should definitely have put in a charactor creation system so people can make up fighters to go one on one, and it owuld broaden the game play instead of the limited amount you do get (including the altrer egos you cna unlock).
And once you do unlocjk those said alter egos the story line is pretty non-excistent. I mean all it is is basically. "I will baet you!!" Over and over again. Though the skimp outfits DO tend to distract you form it, at least for a little bit.

The game has received generally mixed or average reviews

Rumble Roses (ランブルローズ?) is a professional wrestling fighting game that was developed by Yuke's and Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo, and published by Konami in 2004 for the PlayStation 2. The game uses the same engine as Yuke's 2003 release Exciting Pro Wrestling 5. Rumble Roses was followed by Rumble Roses XX for the Xbox 360 in 2006.The game has received generally mixed or average reviews, having an aggregate score of 66% on Metacritic.[5]
Critics generally disliked the audio quality and plot but praised the graphics.[6] J.M. Vargas's review for PSX Nation said, "Like too many Konami projects localized in English the voices in this game are utter and complete garbage."[7] Jeremy Dunham reviewed the game for IGN, giving it a 7.8/10 overall: 9 in both Presentation and Graphics, 6.5 in Sound, 7.5 in Gameplay, and 7 in Lasting Appeal. Dunham found the storyline to be lackluster but enjoyed the game, commenting that "It's one of those rare games that manages to capitalize on the whole sex appeal thing without sacrificing the gameplay along with it."[2] In an article for GamerFeed, Chris Buffa said that the "gorgeous women and environments will get your blood pumping" and the "corny dialogue only adds to the game's hilarity".[4]
In 2012, FHM included Benikage among the nine "sexiest ninja babes in games" and compared her to Jade Lopez.[8]

Best Guilty Pleasure

Rumble Roses has always been one of my guiltiest pleasures. One look at the opening sequence as soon as you boot up the game will show you why. It's hot polygonal girls in skimpy polygonal costumes dirty dancing by themselves before jumping into the wrestling ring. Once in the ring they begin slapping, punching, kicking and forcing their opponents into various submission and "humiliation" holds until someone wins or gives up. There's no nudity (frankly there's really no need for it) but as you'll be able to tell by the "view" of some of the holds in the game, there is a reason that this is an "M" rated game.

Rumble Roses is not a one-trick pony, either, meaning it's not just girls slapping each other in the ring and that's it. Rather, it's a fairly robust game offering different play modes such as Exhibition Mode, Quick Play Mode and Story Mode as well as unlockable costumes and alternate personalities.

An example of this would be the Miss Spencer character. She starts out the game as a school teacher looking for a truant student. But if, through the Vow System in Exhibition play, you can get her away from being a "good girl" she will become "Mistress Spencer" her dominatrix persona complete with an awesome new costume. And then once the alternate personality is unlocked you can view her in the locker room warming up in Gallery Mode. It should be noted that Gallery Mode offers users a movable camera that has the ability to zoom in and out. See what I mean by "guilty pleasure"?

Overall, the controls are pretty responsive, the music is good and the graphics are...let's just say adequate. I highly recommend this game.

The Best Wrestling Game out there and in bikinis!!

This is the second time that i"M buying this and I've had to fight to hold on to the first as long as i did. It is a great game that is totally addicting to everyone who tries it. It has super fantastic wrestling moves with finishing moves, great storylines to progress through it as well as the voyeur fun of the locker room complete with all its unlockable costumes and scenes ( shower room). I know, i know a little tacky but not unbearable and I've found the girls like it the most because they get to pick a kick ass persona fighter that looks like them or their own mental alter ego. The ring action is fun, realistic, challenging and amusing (humiliation moves). If your looking for a light attitude, strong quality wrestling game look no further. Get it while you can and lock it to your wrist lol enjoyLire l'avis complet...

Women wrestling!!!!

Rumble Roses is a great wrestling game. At least it is with fictional characters. The characters are hot. The wrestling moves are good and the submissions. A great game and at a reasonable price.

Awesome Game

If you like wrestling and hot chicks, this is the game for you. I played for a week and It's awesome. It has a very good wrestling and submission system that is a bit hard to get at first, but in 3 hours of playing you'll understand it without problem. story mode is fun since you can watch each story for every girl. Exhibition mode also has a nice system attached to it which I won't describe because I don't want to spoil the fun. but I just have to say that if you buy this game you won't regret it.Lire l'avis complet...
