Excellent book. Happy to own something quite unusual.

I learned of the passion for Roundabouts whilst watching a programme about Crafts and how cards completely miss the things that really interest men. The presenter blurted out that they were interested in things like Roundabouts and Garden Sheds. I immediately looked the book up on E-bay and there were plenty to choose from. The book is supposed to be 'amusing' and has the word 'humour' on the back as a description. The 'introduction' is one of the best I have ever read and gives detailed reasons as to how the book came to be. I have rated this a 4 out of 5 because I think the book needs just a little bit more work. One or two photos need to be re-taken as the lighting is poor. I felt one or two photos showing those glorious array of flowers in the Summer would liven things up too. If I didn't think any more could be done on the book I would definately rate it as a 5 because it is nearly full of that enthusiasm to approach such a difficult and tricky subject most people would see as boring apart from Men of course! This edition by the way arrived in pristine condition. For the price - I thought it was going to be second hand and just wanted to take a look at it out of curiosity. Great Entertainment in the written page

The book was in excellent condition - gave much amusement whilst reading - we have a face going on in Poynton Cheshire where they have installed two roundabouts and got rid of the traffic lights on a main A trunk road - this should be in the next edition!!Lire l'avis complet...
