Cost effective - Better tasting food
Great cooking utensil. Replaces oven, pots, pans. deep fat fryer. toaster oven, roaster etc. Food tastes better because it cooks from the outside in, holding in the juices and flavors. Cooked a turkey - was the most delicious I have ever eaten. Only one con - this is my second one. The reviews I read before I purchased my first one said the light will last from 9 to 12 months with constant use. I found found that to be true. I used mine every day and it lasted about 12 months. Bulb can not be replaced on this model. However the price of the unit makes it affordable to just buy a new one. Lire l'avis complet...

Rosewill Halogen Infrared Oven - Superfast, Versatile
Would have given this oven five stars except that the included cooking racks are rather flimsy and the temperature control can be somewhat difficult to set precisely. The oven itself works very surprisingly well. First used it for toasted cheese and deli sliced meat sandwiches and the cheese melts while the bread is nicely toasted in about three minutes without preheating. Then roasted a whole pork loin - roasted more quickly than we would have imagined at about 325F to the roast's 155F internal temperature in an amazing 50 minutes. The roast emerged with a nice crust on top as the oven had melted the fat layer which basted the roast and the roast was evenly cooked, but not charred or burnt. Also does a great job with sausages, hot dogs, etc.
For roasting, I line the bottom of the oven with aluminum foil as allowed by the instructions and then have a small pizza pan on top of that to catch the drippings, which makes cleanup rather simple. The oven does become quite externally warm but does not heat up the kitchen as toaster ovens generally do, likely primarily because it cooks so rapidly. The included extender ring increases the oven's versatility. The also included pickup tongs basically are throwaways. Unlike some other similar ovens the dome part is glass rather than plastic, which should result in greater durability. Overall, this Rosewill oven is very much recommended.

light weight easy to clean
Works well, I use it on a boat as an oven. The only slightly negative thing is that it is really bright, like do not look at it. If you store it like it comes in the box it is really compact. Since it cooks from the top, the glass container catches everything and is way easier to clean than a toaster oven. Most of the time you do not use the extender ring, but when you need it, it is nice to have.

good oven
only cooked in it once which was a new recipe and it turned out great. the recipe said cover with foil but it did not cook well so I uncovered and turned the temp down and it cooked very fast. wish the were some recipes to give ideals on cooking time, overall it seems like a good oven. I do not know if the light on it hurts your eyes but it bothers mine looking at it. so far I am pleased with itLire l'avis complet...

Great value for the Money!
I have wanted an oven like this for at least 8 months. It has a large capacity (up to 18 lb turkey) and both infrared and halogen oven for fast cooking. I also like that it has a glass bowl vs plastic. I used to sell the leading brand that is heavily advertised. This oven is a little less than half the cost of that brand and it has a glass vs a plastic cover. The plastic covers break over time. I like that it includes the extender ring (which is an extra charge on the leading brand). I love BBQ but have not wanted to cook it in 100 degree desert temperatures plus characoal is bad for you. So I made BBQ chicken tenders with thai peanut sauce in about 20 minutes and it tasted JUST LIKE BBQ! The whole living room filled up with the aroma driving my cats crazy!
I am thrilled as now I can cook food like turkey and pot roast, quickly and easily and it comes out great. My neighbor already wants this after seeing it and hearing me describe it. I like the health benefits as well as the saturated fat drips to the bottom but meat stays tender and moist. Looking forward to many wonderful meals.
There is a warranty but the time period is never explained in the instruction booklet. Yes, directions are sparse - it basically gives you the temperature settings for different kinds of meat and fish. From there you experiment. I used the temp for BBQ and it came out fine. It's like cooking in an oven but much quicker and healthier. The wash cycle on the product is never explained in the directions. They could have been written much better.
WORD OF CAUTION: BE SURE to read the directions to make sure you get the most life out of your product. Many people don't and then bad things happen.
Also love the fact that it won't heat up the kitchen in the hot summers here in Arizona and is energy efficient! What's not to like? Get one.

Compact, lightweight but cooks anything
I love this little Oven. It bakes cookies, cakes, can cook a quarter of a chicken to a whole one. It broils , broils good cheese toast and makes the best baked sweet and Idaho potatoes and broils potatoes that are like fried-just now learning to do a lot of things with it but all of the food cooks quickly, does not heat up your kitchen like a conventional oven, is quiet and very easy to clean, just wipe the glass bowl out. I love the baking rack and the broiler rack. I highly recommend this Infrared Halogen Convection Oven! Nice little oven.
I like this oven, it's a little smaller and easier to clean. I had a couple of the Sharper Image ovens which cooked faster, but this Rosewill oven isn't bad. This is my second one, the first one died after a few years, but it's inexpensive so I don't mind if it dies.
