Useful things to know

This is a great little effects box for vocals. It does pretty much anything a radio show host would want. Here are a few things to know:

-There are two "outs," but it isn't stereo. One is for the unedited vocals, one is for the vocals with effects.
-The entire closure is made of plastic. While it does make this seem overpriced, its light weight ensures this is great to use with batteries on the go.
-It can accept 1 of 3 mic inputs: XLR, 1/4, and 1/8!
-I have no idea why a review says it's powered by a 9v adapter, mine is powered by USB Type-B, which is not included. They make up for this by including 4 batteries. Be sure to pick up a cable if you want power without batteries, an old printer cable might work.
-There are a lot of hidden settings to add things like a noise gate (reduce unwanted background noise). Be sure to read that manual!

I tried the brand new Roland E4. The main reasons you'd choose it over this are: rechargeable battery, somewhat smaller size, scatter effects, and built in looper. However, you lose features, too; it's give and take. I felt like this VT-4 was better me, due to more effects (megaphone and robot). The existence of the E4 might mean this will get discontinued soon! However, I think you'll always be able to find a VT-4 used for a reasonable price.Lire l'avis complet...

The problem is power supply

This needs a designated 9V power input.

Je n'ai pas fais d'autres test avec un clavier , mais c'est a venir !
