Perfect size and great response!
Although it doesn't have the greatest looks like a PD-125-X mesh pad...it delivers with great feel and response. I think the most important thing to take note of here is the fact that the sensor cone is at the side which totally eliminates hot spotting! Many of Rolands great looking mesh pads all had their sensors right in the middle of the drum, which was always a problem.
I have down sized my kit to accommodate my condo living, so I am only using Rolands PDX-6 and PDX-8 mesh pads which look just great with this new PDX-12 pad as my snare.Lire l'avis complet...

The Roland PDX-12 is the best bang for the buck!
The Roland PDX-12 mesh head drum trigger is a huge improvement over my former mesh drum trigger (Roland PDX-8) for playability, ghost notes, rolls and x-stick. There are better options but much more expensive. This trigger is the best bang for the buck IMO.Lire l'avis complet...

Great Mesh Pad
For the $$$$$$ it can't be beat? I mean it is very very responsive, sensitive and priced much lower than other mesh pads. Rim shot and drag rolls are all there along with the ghost notes.

Best snare e-pad in its price range
Great. I bought this after watching a “65 Drums” YouTube review, calling it the best $200 snare pad out there. True, as far as I can tell. It’s low profile and portable, and triggers accurately from both head and rim. The piezo is side mounted, so no hot-spotting... that’s a personal preference thing, but I like it. Great low cost v drum
Great pad. Better than the high end Pd-125 i have played. Not much to look at. But response is fantastic.
