Works great and easy to set up.
It is good that this is easy to set up because the user manual in the box is very incomplete.
I found a neat feature that is not in the documentation. If you are repeating from a dual-band router, then you only need to connect to the router on either 2.4 or 5 GHZ, not both. In my case, I used 5 GHZ only to link back to the router but this device repeated that connection on both 2.4 and 5 GHZ. This effectively doubles the speed at 2.4 GHZ (which most of my devices are) because the "repeat" back to the router is done at 5 GHZ which leaves the time slot open at 2.4 GHZ for additional data. This allows me to do two ZOOM meetings at the same time with no "freezeups" or dropped video frames.

Was able to extend my wifi range upstairs!
I purchased this wifi extender as we have our router on our main floor and I was having connectivity issues upstairs, even after trying different wifi adapters, as I mistakenly thought it was an adapter issue.
I initially set it up on my second floor, which didn't help my signal. I then set it up on the ground floor, but on the opposite side of the house to our router.
The password setup only seemed to create an extension to the 2.4GHz network, but when I tried setting it up again with a WPS push, both my 2.4GHz and 5GHz extensions were visible.
Using this fixed my connectivity issues upstairs, so no more disconnections and a stronger speed overall, even on my game console.
My only concern is that the device heats up quickly and I wonder if it's possible to overheat.Lire l'avis complet...

Good product
This product does a great job of extending my network for normal Wi-Fi internet/work VPN connectivity. Easy and quick setup. Strange thing is is that online gaming seems to become erratic using the connection and always seems to cause lag. When using my normal weak network in the area, gaming works way better. Very Satisfied
The WiFi extender was very reasonably price. It appears to be made of good quality and was easy to install. I liked it so much, I purchased a second one to extend my signal even further. Rock Space is Out of this World
I’ve purchased three other wireless router extenders within the last year. I was never satisfied with the signal strength to my devices until I purchased the Rock Space WiFi Extender AC1200. Amazing compact gadget and love the design and color of the unit. Very, very simple setup to assign password protection through your mobile and internet browser. The other simplest option is through the WPS button available on this device. Just follow the short step on the instructions. As soon as I checked my satellite dish signal to check the signal strength, I was amazed! The WiFi signal I used to get was at 64%, but after I installed the Rock Space Extender now I get 100% signal! Thus far I had no interruptions on the wireless signal since installation. I highly recommend this product. I’ve read many reviews of this product and thought it was all hype to promote this WiFi extender, but I was wrong. Easy setup, good signal boost

Excellent WiFi Repeater Extender for this price point.
This is an excellent repeater for this price point, it offer great value in performance and quality. The repeater was easy to set up using the WPS button on the repeater and my router. The repeater comes with excellent illustrated installation instructions which a non-tech person can easily understand, both a standard installation and one using the WPS method are shown. The repeater solved our low signal problem in our spare bedroom/office; our router is in the basement level of the house and signal is weak at both ends of the house. I'm stilll testing different locations for the repeater to get the most uniform coverage. We don't have a large house so one repeater should provide ample coverage.Lire l'avis complet...

JUNK, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!
Easy to setup, But signal comes and goes unless the extender is in the actual same room as the cable router, which defeats the purpose of extending the signal.
Then when I do connect to the extender with any wireless device, I get the message, " Connected, Internet Unavailable."
The instructions say to change the encryption method of the router from WEP to WPA, but this is Spectrum's router and I don't see any possible way to make such a change.
