PIKESTUFF single train shed
What a terrific item. They gave excellent directions and ACTUALLY offer options for the home modeller to modify the kit! This was a fantastic option. I even have extra parts to use later. Would like to see this concept applied to older style building kits from this fine company. I'd be the first in line for them. Enginehouse kit Is easy to assemble and is true to prototype.
This Pikestuff kit built up easily into a single-stall engine house, which was exactly what we needed for the coal yard switcher on our large Club layout. The size was perfect, and I loved the flexibility in the kit's design which permitted customizing the door/window placements. Have not assembled it yet. Wish the directions were more explanatory. Like the idea of being able to kit bash it.
