Great use of Cinemascope! Marilyn can sing and be strong. Tommy Retig
grows up to his later role in TV "Lassie" series. Well-directed story. This is a
western movie with family values, scares, and a satisfying ending. I loved it.

Great family role models mitchum is a real man heroic but in a quiet way. Monroe is sexy but motherly towards the boy. Now young people are gender neutral or reversed. Top ten movie expertly restored

Robert Mitchum & Marilyn Monroe were quite good in this rather obscure film. She even sings & is actually pretty good. The film was shot in Canada on a beautiful but very wild river, & the scenery is gorgeous. The story takes place in the frontier days when the west was still quite rugged.Lire l'avis complet...

Monroe and Mitchum at their peak. Love hearing Marilyn singing Down in the Meadow with guitar. Great sutff!!

Excellent movie
One of Robert Mitchum’s best projects. They’re heading down the river on a raft dodging Indians and the ladies husband, great adventure including the score. You’ll definitely like this movie.
