I love the ring solar panel
I have 4 ring solar panels, 2 connected to the stickup battery cameras and 2 to the ring spotlight cameras. All four charge the cameras to 100% capacity. The best part I don’t have to get up on a ladder every two weeks to change the batteries. I don't have to change batteries!
When we bought our ring battery powered camera, we bought an extra battery thinking when we were charging one battery, we would have another in the camera and not have any down time. That was a great idea and worked fine but depending on how much recording was done by the camera, batteries still had to be changed every few months. I purchased the solar panel, and it was a simple install. It keeps the battery at or very near 100% charge even when the sun isn't out for a few days. Worth the time and money

high quality solar panel
Does what it should. Keeps the battery charged. It does need to be in direct sunlight I think about 7 or 8 hours. I mount this on the rain gutter using a rain gutter mount. It gets very good direct sunlight that way.Lire l'avis complet...

Fantastic battery saver.
I'm saved now by not having to climb up a ladder and change out the batteries almost every 6 weeks!
You MUST get this if you have the Ring security camers.
A word of note, you have to place this in a place that will get direct sunlight.

Finally! True wireless cameras
When used in conjunction with the correct cameras and you truly do have a wireless camera system. They state that one hour of light is sufficient for 24 hours of use. I have not tested that theory, but camera stay up at all times. Only "bad" thing about solar panel is that it has an very long pigtail. If the camera and panel are close, you will have a lot of wire, which you have to keep in order to keep warranty.Lire l'avis complet...
