Sort of a continuation of Resident Evil 2

The game is about Claire and Chris. there are no other resident evil characters in this one accept Wesker who will make some appearances, but you don't fight him. *sigh*

Claire is on a desperate search to find her Brother. This takes place near Europe i believe, she is captured and taken to a cell but is later set free when the Island is suddenly under a attack. Claire meets Steve who at first will seem to have this big attitude problem, but later will provide a very soft spot for Claire, hes here nearly for the same reason she is. You'll also meet a very humorous villian name Alfred Ashford who's like completely obsessed with his sister, Alexia. you'll have to play the game to see what i mean, the guy is HILARIOUS.

along the way you will find that this island is ALMOST like a concentration camp, there is blood and torture instruments everywhere. You'll explore this island, along with a mansion and another facility then travel across the artic and explore an abandoned facility.

The story and graphics is actually pretty neat, just remember to save often becuase if you die, it will bring you back to the last place you saved or somewhere sort of near your last progress.

The cut scenes are nice, there seems to be more physcial action.

It wasnt really all that great to me, but i don't mind having it. I still play it from time to time.

Resident Evil Code Veronica X: A fan review

I am a HUGE fan of the Resident Evil survival horror series and simply had to have this game to see where the Umbrella plot goes!

I am rating it average as it doesn't really offer anything exciting in terms of that edge-of-your-seat feeling you get from RE 1,2,3 & Zero. [I counted one thing that startled me] Thankfully you still have the good old ink ribbon and item box in what I call 'the safe room'. I love the feeling of making it in there and knowing nothing is going to attack me or pop out of the shadows.

The Bad points:

The story plot is a play on PSYCHO with a mix-match of the BL & family-attraction anime flair that I really feel the game could have done without. As it stands you are introduced to Sir Alfred who has an awful high pitched guy voice, and who you later find out has been masquerading as his sister Alexia. Alexia meanwhile had experiments conducted on her and is an unnecessarily sexy mutant hold up in Antarctica. Alfred, you come to understand had an unnatural attraction to his sister, and because she was taken from him, has a split personality and thinks he IS his sister! I couldn't tell the series was anime until this game.

When Claires graphic spins in a circle she is practically stiff, which is laughable.
Steve has a bad dub-over that comes across as whiney; his plot is very typical: he has to kill his zombie father, his mother is dead, his family is dead etc, and then he himself later becomes a mutant and dies. When you've a veteran gamer such as I, you have an eye-roll when you realize how many times this plot has been used in the video game world. I can't even count the repetition for you, and I have played literally HUNDREDS of games!!!!!

The good points:
You get to explore another great mansion! The zombies are really excellent in this game! You get to see zombies crawl out of their GRAVE, and walk around on fire! Very cool! It is great to be able to explore an enviroment in the snow [AKA Antarctica].
I like the ability to play as Claire and then her brother Chris.
It is also a plus that in the PS2 version, Wesker makes an appearance! Veteran RE gamers will recognize good old Wesker from the first Resident Evil!
At last we get to find out what Weskers plan really was in the first game!

If you don't own this game, it would be a good addition to your collection, as it ties up the plot loose ends from the previous ones. It may not be the best game of the series, but it has enough good moments that will keep you coming back for a re-play!

This Game is an Easy 9/10

Resident Evil Code: Veronica X (also know as Resident Evil Code: Veronica Complete is the ''improved'' version of Resident Evil Code: Veronica originally released for the Dreamcast. There are some things you should consider if you wish to buy this game, and some things that you wouldn't want to buy it (if you have the DC Version)

Story 9/10
I really think Capcom tuned down the story for this game, in the other games, such as Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, the game told you about umbrella in a universal sense. This game is focused on one umbrella group in general, the Ashford Family, your mission, as you play as the returning Claire Redfield (RE2). Is to escape from the prison island and find your missing brother, Chris Redfield (RE1). As you probably already know, monsters and zombies will be sure to haunt your every step.

Game Play 10/10
Some people would probably strongly disagree with me here, but I believe that the Game Play is excellent in this game, better than any of the RE's to date. Everything is more affective...(possible to clear much of the game with a knife!) As well as I felt the game was made a bit...easier here. Nether the less, still the same hard RE, as it goes on.

Audio Specs 9/10
Awesome! The sound effects are MUCH more cleaner than the past RE's and I mean MUCH. It's no RE Remake audio's but the gunfire is pretty much the same as the past RE's (similar to RE2) But cut scene audio sounds much better and explosions are well done.

Environment 10/10 (could go higher)
Whoa! What a major improvement! The environment around you is almost 10X as advanced as the past Resident Evil's, the sounds of footsteps making mucky noises in the rain, the rain in general, some lighting effects in different areas. Definitely increases the game play.

Graphics 10/10
Solid graphics. The graphics are again, 10X as detailed at the graphics in RE1-RE3. The graphics aren't scratchy, and they don't do that funny thing where they raise their arm when they speak. The characters are awesomely detailed in cut scenes, and the FMV's are beautifully done.

Overall 9/10

Resident Evil Code Veronica X For PlayStation 2

I got the game earlier than expected, it works great so far and I got it for an amazing price. I am happy to own a copy of this game for PS2 now. Also the case is in good condition. The Devil May Cry Demo disc look good but I have not tested it yet and the manual is in good condition.Lire l'avis complet...

THE RETURN OF CHRIS AND CLAIRE REDFIELD

This is a great game. Originally released for the Sega Dreamcast, the ending was expanded to a nearly 10-minute FMV (full motion video) for the PS2. The story seems more complete with it than its previous version.
The controls are better than the Dreamcast, which is a plus. If you've used a PS1 dual-shock controller for the other RE games, the controls are way better due to the familiarity of the controller, making for easier gameplay.
Chris and Claire are reunited for this game, albeit for just a few sequences. Tha action in this game is nonstop, making it worth the money anytime, anywhere.
I bought it when it out for PS2 because as much as i liked the Dreamcast version, this one's better. In my opinion, this should've been colled Resident Evil 4, but the game designers decided not to do that.
Great game overall.

Umbrella Review

Tryants,Zombies,Hunters,Dogs,Banderstancths,Nosferatu,Alexia,Alfred and WESKER could it get any better! I'll get the one and only downside out of the way first you have to play as Chris i don't know why i just can't stand him i'am sorry if this upsets any Chris Redfield fans but we all have a favourite character and one we hate. First off all the Graphics are great the Souns is classic Resident Evil so expect some chills the combination of new and old monsters is great the Story is brillant the villians are Evil and the heros are well heroic apart from Chris who's just stupid who you have to play as sadly. The Gameplay is much the same as the past Resident Evil although for the first time there are some duel guns such as the MP 100's and the Sub machine Guns. Also the first thing to know is that this game if its your first try is hard very hard infact and there is no easy setting so expect a diffucult be challenging and eventually rewarding game. You start off as Claire Redfield who's looking for her Brother Chris(WHY?) she is quickly captured at Umbrella HQ and Taken to Rockfort Island. After being let out of the Cell she's stuck in you explore the Prison complex expect big scares as you do battle with Zombies and Dogs. After getting to the bridge you enter the Palace and do battle with the Strange but very Evil Alfred Ashford i could tell you more but don't want to spoil it. After meeting up with fellow prisnoer Steve you do battle agianst all kinds of Umbrellas creature eventually meeting Alfred equally crazy sister Alexia who infact turns out to be Alfreds split personalty of is She. After leaving on a plane in the near by Airport you must do battle twice with the Tryant 078 if you though the past Tryants were hard waity till you fight him. After defeating Eventually defeating the Tryant you escape to the Antartica Base which is another T-Virus infected Base holding Zombies,Dogs and moths. After once agian doing battle with Alfred you escape as Alfred falls to he's apprent death. Once you get to the roof of the Base the Nosverto appears who is quite litterally related to the crazy Alfred. After a climatic battle claqire and Steve Escape. As a dying Alfred crawls into a lab to see he's Sister Alexia finally be released from statis awaken not flowing with the Power of the T-Alexia Virus after insuring Claire and Steve don't Escape you return to the Trianing factilly as Chris who as usual messes up dropping all he's guns down a cliff side.

As you do battle with Chris you take on Zombies,Dogs,Spiders, the Albanon,Alexia and Huinters plus the giant worm. I won't spoil the End but if you hate Chris and like Wesker or both then trust me it will be worth playing just to see the End Cut Scence. The Weapons available are wider than ever including Multiple Handguns,Bowguns,Machine Guns, AK47's,Shotguns,Grenade Launchers, there are new types of Ammo as well as the exclusive Linerar Luancher. After completeing the game and believe me even for an experinced Resident Evil player it will take a while you unlock the secret Battle mode game were there are five playable charecter each with there own stats health and weapons and there own bosses this will provide a extra challenge to gamers and increases the games life as weel as contians the infamouse D.I.J's diary.

Sorry for going on a bit and thankyou for reading take care everybody Umbrella Out.
