One of the best concerts I've ever heard

This is truly a must have for any Chili Peppers fan, this concert includes 19 great songs and extended intros and jams that are just awesome. The energy and dynamics of the band are a lot of fun to watch. John Frusciante's backing vocals are haunting and beautiful, speaking of which John's performance should be important to any Chili Peppers fans now that it is known that John left the band.

To give everyone an idea of how great this concert is, I used to have all the songs playlisted on youtube but I bought the dvd so that I would be able to enjoy it in the highest quality possible, with uncompressed sound/video and even sound levels, etc.

As for negatives, there really aren't any except that it costs money :P

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, Live at Slane Castle

Well, i have to say I'm biased because I absolutely love the chili peppers, but I was very impressed with this DVD. I didn't even know it existed! It was great quality, and even has a screen saver that is awesome. I had to buy this to complete my chili pepper library. awesome dvd

This was a great concert to watch, better than being there. All the fans there had to stand up the whole time and unless you were in the first few rows, watching the dvd is better. I just finished watching their dvd "off the map", and "live at slane" was a much better performance. Fantastic Live at Slane Castle

This is an extremely intertaining concert with some small special effects, also gives you good vibes of how bonded the band is with its members and its fans....I absolutely love Slane Castle......I have watched it a 100 times and still enjoy it just as much as the first time.
