Rebel Soul Music * - Luther, Martin
I heard all of the hype about Martin Luther months (OK, years) ago but I decided to see what mark he'd make in the music industry first. He make a small splash and that, to me, meant he had put a good product out there that appealed to music fans not just what the music industry wants to push as "good music." You know the kind of music you hear so much that ya start to actually HATE the song! I wasn't as impressed w/ this album as I was with the live and accoustic cuts he has out there but he still has that truly soulful sound that's lacking from most music that's been produced in the last 5-10 years. No Music Category with Martin Luther
It's not to hard to review good music. Rebel-Soul-Music is real good music, or good real music. It is difficult however to classify the genre. I hesitate to use the term "mash-up" to describe the creative brilliance of Martin Luther but he is an interesting blend of music characters, Outkast-Anthony Hamilton-George Clinton-Jimi Hendrix: you get the point. His music is beyond classification;
I will however concede that the Neo-Soul/Alternative-Rock classification fits nicely.Lire l'avis complet...
