RCA ups the ante.

With this version of the 6 outlet wall tap RCA has made what I consider a better mouse trap.

Many contemporary houses have a wall switch controlling the upper of the double wall outlets. Thus installation of a wall tap that accesses both outlets splits the result into 3 *always on* and 3 *wall switch controlled* outlets. The RCA tap results in 6 *always on* outlets. Something to be aware of in making your purchase and choosing which outlets in which to install this tap.

By including surge protection in the wall tap RCA has made it possible to omit one additional expense.

I also like having a choice of swiveling or not.

The only way this device could be improved even more would be (1) to have two more outlets on the very bottom to take 90 degree plugs from both the left and the right, and (2) to add two USB 3 outlets on the top. Of course that would mean a slightly higher price too (about 50% would be attractive).

As the device is the improvements it currently provides is worth the 100% increase over the other 6 fixed side outlet wall taps I have found.Lire l'avis complet...

Turn a double outlet into 6, accomodates different plugs

If you live in an older home you probably don't have enough outlets. This product is great because it combines the flexibility to plug in 6 different items with a surge protector. It accommodates almost all shapes of plugs. Each bank of three swivels separately, so you get more room compared to a fixed 6-plug style (which I have in another room, but I like this one better). Hooray for being able to play music, run my humidifier and have a light to read by simultaneously. Before I had to choose two out of three, now I can use them all and charge various tech items at the same time. Only one three prong connection to outlet

Good item. I would recommend that another prong is added to create a more stable connection to the outlet.

Great lil' electric device

Perfect for people with space issues and need extra outlets. Gives cords a more organized look being able to turn them in the direction needed.

Fits most but love it

Just know it fits most outlets. It will not fit a surge protected outlet with square cover. So I used it elsewhere. I love it.

RCA 6 outlet surge protector

It really works I live in PR and electricity goes out often my unit saved my tv and speaker system the RC burned but units were saved I send a message to RCA and they replaced the unit.
