A great interactive way to read with your child

I still have an old copy of this story that I used to read to my kids when they were young; they are now in high school and still smile when they see this book. While helping out during the Summer months at a local child care center, I'd purchased a second copy to read to the 3 and 4 year olds at the center. They, like my children, were captivated by the story. However, to prevent colds and germs from spreading, I'd pre-cut the different colored shapes - like those in the story - so each child could enjoy their very own "resting place" and this has quickly become a favorite read for many children. I'd call it a time-less favorite as years later, children today will enjoy and appreciate it as much as my children did 10-15 years ago. Further, without repeating the same information from the review listed above, which I agree with completely, you won't regret purchasing this cleverly written story, and the all-loving, familiar character, Grover, is simply the "icing-on-the-cake" (...with-a-berry-on-top!)Lire l'avis complet...

Perfect Book to help aid children to sleep

This is a perfect book if your child does not want to take naps, or go to sleep at night. It also teaches kids their body part. I had this book as a child and I loved it. It teaches kids that its ok to lay down and go to sleep and that it rests every part of their body and makes it feel better. Its really a cute way to convience your children that sleep is good for their bodies, and if Grover can do it, they can do it. It has helped my son take naps and go to bed at night. I highly recommend this book for any parent with a child that refuses to go to sleep.

Hard-to-find book in great used condition

The book was in very good condition despite its age. Pretty sure it is out of print, so finding a decent copy can be tough! Really pleased with the book.
