Outstanding Raggedy Ann book made my day and will delight my granddaughter!

I purchased the book to be a gift to my granddaughter, Ella. It is tradition with me that when my daughters turned 5 and my granddaughters now turning 5, that I sew them a 36inch Raggedy Ann doll. I also like to include a storybook. This particular book caught my eye, as all little girls love pop-up books. I couldn't be more pleased with the book. The vintage-looking pops-up are beautiful and the book itself has a vintage look to it. In fact, the book inspired me to purchase a vintage pattern for the camel and Ella will now have the doll, the camel, and the beautiful book for her 5th Birthday! I have never come across a book quite like this one. The story is heartwarming, the book was brand new,the price was exceptional, and if I had more granddaughters turning 5, I would definitely buy more of this book!!Lire l'avis complet...

Great pop up book; the kids really liked the story also

I have a friend who collects pop up books (Robert Sabuda ones especially). Her small granddaughters always want to look at her books and they are quite young, 4 and 2, so she sits "with them" when they want to look at grandma's special books. I thought they might enjoy a pop up book of their own so I bought the Raggedy Ann book for them. They love it! And they have been quite gentle (for young children) considering they get excited and squeal at the pop ups.....over and over again.Lire l'avis complet...

It brings me back to my childhood. I have always loved Raggedy Ann and Andy. A pop up book is the best!
