CAUTION: The VH127R is rated for "In-Wall" use and may not be suitable for long-term outdoor use.

CAUTION: This 75-foot (23 meter) spool of RCA VH127R Antenna Rotator Cable is made by RCA for its VH226E Outdoor Antenna Rotator. Yet the VH127R cable spool says it is for "in-wall" use (see photo). That means "indoor" use. This makes no sense. The rotator must be located outdoors near the top of the antenna mast, so a portion of the cable must be outdoors and exposed to the elements.

At the very least, it should have a UV resistant jacket so it doesn't deteriorate due to sun exposure. Yet there is zero mention of UV resistance on the jacket. I live in Michigan, so I'm also concerned about winter when the cable could be covered in ice, snow or pelted with hail.

RCA also makes a VH127N Antenna Rotator Cable for about the same price as the VH127R. However, I have been unable to get any information on the VH127N to know if it is outdoor-rated. You might want to check into it.Lire l'avis complet...
