Great phones for a new business

I bought these phones as part of opening up a new business office because they has so many great features. You have a permanent recording and you can add another when you are out of the office traveling. It can be expanded up 16 phones using 4 incoming phone numbers. I can call in from anywhere and playback any messages that have been left for me.

One drawback is that I can only get it to go to voicemail after 3 rings. When I tried 4 rings, it tells the caller the phone line is not active and hangs up without taking a message. I may look into this more but, I normally pick up in 3 rings so it is not a significant problem.

Overall, I intend to expand using this model of phone or one compatible with it as the business grows.Lire l'avis complet...

Phone receiver is defective.

I've already had one of these phones for years, so I bought this because of the great functionality when two or more (up to 16) are used together. However, the receiver worked only intermittently, and when it did work, the sound was noisy and made receive audio difficult to hear. Works great for a small business phone system

We bought this phone to attach to our other RCA phones that we use in the office. We added another office and needed a phone for it. It has all the amenities of a large phone system - intercom (private and speaker), transfer, hold, phone book, caller ID, answering machine, auto attendant, etc. Good sound quality, no scratchy voices. Buy all the same model # phone if not you will be unhappy.

RCA- This is the only model that will work as an auto attendant. You must also have the same 25425RE1 phone to be able to leave messages like an auto attendant is supposed to work. If you do not the auto attendant will not let you leave messages at other extentions. Also the cordless part only works with one base unit. its nothing like the 2 line system.Lire l'avis complet...

It has it's little quirks, but, overall, it's a great phone for the money.

Not Impressed

This took too long to receive (over two weeks).
And it was mailed in a large box, put in loose, with no packing material.
The phone seems to work ok.
