Lightweight with resonable features

If you must to know, I can recommend this product. it is cheap and customers can'n expect miracles. The mains voltage in my country is 220V/50Hz, with primary winding transformer 380/220V its converted to 110V for pump motor, as can be check with AC-voltmeter. Power is sufficient, but I don't know why, can only operate for some minutes due to much heating. But with small chooke inductor thats reduce voltage to 95V and with cooling PC-ventilator, pump can operate 15 minutes without too much heated.
I use this vacuum pump for magnetron sputering metal machine, pump is 1-stage and generate good deep vacuum. But beter vacuum can be obtained if the black plastic outlet valve is replaced by open oil separator. Original vacuum oil has low evaporation at low pressure, but has'n good lubricating properties. I have replaced it with low viscosity Agip Alaria high temperature oil with lithium grease added, this give excellent lubricating properties and low friction. Also reduce internal valve leak and vaccuumed system can hold vacuum some hours with pump off.

Leaked Oil right from the first use.

The very first time I used this pump 1/2 the oil leaked out in the first 15 miniuts I had to take it apart and reseal it with silicone before I could even use it. Had to order more vacume oil since it came with a very small bottle.Lire l'avis complet...

Doesn't come with what it shows.

It showed the items coming with the new vacuum oil but it really doesn't come with it. Was pretty dissatisfied with that. But other than that it works well.
