I gave 5 stars and recommend this soundtrack because Jonathan Davis wrote the songs and recorded all of them for the movie. However, his record label wouldn’t allow the songs he recorded to be released on album. Now all of the artists did a nice job with this collective effort. But unfortunately I find myself comparing their stuff to JD’s versions from the movie. Although I knew the story behind it, I am still left feeling…a little disappointed that his voice isn’t the one I’m hearing. Still great music though. Lire l'avis complet...

Great music! Almost better than the movie. Almost!

The product was brand new, it played great, got here fast. I loved all the music on it, and wasn't really disappointed by any aspect of it.

I'll Be Damned !!!

Quite simply, the best movie soundtrack of all time! Not the best movie mind you, but still worth watching just to hear the soundtrack in surround-sound!

So, the story goes something like this...I was out of town on business and was bored shitless. So, I decided to go see a movie. Was familiar with the Anne Rice vampire novels so, I thought, what the hell? What the hell indeed! I was not familiar with any of these artists before. I am now. People are leary of grown men by themselves at a movie theater. Grown men rocking out to devil music must be even more disconcerting!

The rare album (much less soundtrack) that contains no bad songs. All thriller and no filler! Highlights include:
1. "Not Meant For Me" by Wayne Static of Static-X
2. "Change (In the House of Flies) by Deftones
3. "Dead Cell" by Papa Roach
4. "Down With the Sickness" by Disturbed

But, like I said, a case can be made for ALL of these tracks. I was pretty sure that I hated Marilyn Manson (before I ever heard him). I was wrong. Went immediately from the theater to get a copy of this CD. Played it in an endless tape loop for two days. Every time a different song came on I would think, "oh, I really like this one".

Not recommended for impressionable minds. So, if you are young, make sure you get two copies in case you lose one!Lire l'avis complet...

Queen of the Damned Soundtrack

If you enjoyed the movie and the music, of course, then this is definately worth picking up. This Album has lots of great music featuring various artist. If your into the Alternative rock and bands like Disturbed, Korn, Marylin Manson, then your definately going to like this. I gave it a 5/5 because I like the music, and can listen to almost every song on the CD because every songs worth listening to. So if your into the Heavy Metal/Alternative rock sound from 5 years ago, or if you enjoyed the music in the movie then definately buy it.Lire l'avis complet...

This is one soundtrack thatbi wish I never got rid off. Glad that ibwas able to find it and at a good price.

Great CD with some rocking tracks to quench your thirst and heal your soul!

I was happy to buy this at the price I did, being a fan of the Anne Rice novels I was naturally drawn to the movies(Interview, QOTD etc etc) My interest only grew when I found out Jonathan Davis was co directing and writting music for the QOTD movie!! If you want to hear the songs as they are performed by JD on the movie, hit YouTube, the album is full of great tracks written by him, but performed by various other artists.
