Prophecy

Watched Slyvia Brown on Montel Show on TV and wanted to read her book. It was informative and really made me think about the future and how I might relate to it. Also, Made me "Thankful" for things in my life I was taking for grantlt. Even if a third comes true it would shock your senses. The book tells of Medical advances, economic future, living conditions, religious beliefs, and much more.Lire l'avis complet...

Sylvia Browne Phophecy: what the future holds for you

This is the fourth book of Syliva Browns I have read. Most people buy her book because of her wonderful insight, or the vast exstance of her topices, however those reasons do not apply to me. I lover her writing style. The no nonsince, clear way of writing is more like your on an overstuffed sofa with your favoret cup of tea and a slice of Chocolate cake talking to one of your best friends about life and the future. Of course this is a friend who has a much greater ability to see the world, this one and the other side with knowalge we can only dream of having. One things I love about her books is that you can pick up a book and read it in any order you wish. I have started at the back and worked my way to the front, strated in the middle and skipped to chaptures that peaked my interest until the book was done.

This book starts out by giving a brief history of past prophecys pasted down by differant cultures and religions then moves to prophets and then to the

Prophecy by Sylvia Browne

This woman claims to be a prophet, but by her on words some of the things she predicts do not come true. In the Bible if you were a true prophet of God you had to be 100% correct 100% of the time. She is a false prophet and she does things that the Bible teaches against. At times she sounds really confused and I feel sorry for her.

Scripture clearly teaches a world-view in direct conflict with what she is teaching in these books. The Bible expressly condemns participation in spiritism, divination, necromancy, witchcraft, astrology, and universalism (Deuteronomy 18:9-15, Isaiah 47:8-15, Acts 4:12, John 10:1-18, 14:6) The Bible teaches resurrection and judgement, not reincarnation (1 Corinthians 15:12-49, John 11:25-26, Hebrews 9:27-28).

I do not recommend any of her books, but I do think we need to pray for her.

A Wonderful Reference Book for Everything Paranormal

Sylvia Browne's style of writing shines through in this reference book. It is set-up in a somewhat dictionary style with paranormal terms listed alphabetically with their definitions.

Sylvia's personality shines as she describes what these terms are and gives examples that the lay person can relate to.

I recommend this book for people exploring their interest in the paranormal to use as a reference tool when reading other books by Sylvia Browne or another author.
