Fun, Exciting, Sexy, Entertaining Adventure with Jake & Gemma who make a good couple!

I LOVE this movie! Its old fashioned entertainment with wholesome sweet values, corny yet exciting adventures for the leads, handsome actors and lovely actresses, fun stunts, cool special effects and classic Disney Fairy Tale storytelling.
Its an old school modern classic based on retro video game problem solving and kick butt Biblical retribution for the villians who have it coming.
SPOILER ALERT! Even better, any Death or Loss gets to magically be conquered by True Love and Heroic Sacrifice so you end the film feeling happy, safe, secure with the Belief that GOOD Triumphs Over EVIL, even if sometimes you make a few mistakes in judgements and trust the wrong people. Its actually pretty hardcore if you think about it. But the film is so silly, fast and fun that you don't get bogged down in the moral of the story unless you are thoughtful and think about it later which I did. That's why I bought the DVD cause this little B-movie never got any respect or love when it hit theaters and it doesn't get much play on any streaming service.
If you want to have a great movie night with friends, family, kids, a date or to treat yourself (like I did)- give this film a chance.

Great young adult movie.

Prince of Persia Sands of Time

A very good example of time, religion and lifestyles of life in and around Egypt and the Middle east during this time. The special effects were very well done and really made an impact on the movie. Acting was good but I am quite puzzeled as to why modern day feminism is applied to a time when woman were treated as vassals and did not challenge men or society as equals. I find that putting women into roles that depict them as dominating, sword fighting amazons who lived as equals in both family and military life rather stupid. They did not and have rarely done so in muslim life. I believe western society tries to portray 16-18 century women as being modern day Germaine Greers is to put it bluntly-stupid and beyond belief. This silly portrayal of early women detracts from the movies and in fact real life. Why do we try and apply 21st century morals etc on the past does us no credit. One of the finest Arabic stories ever told, truly a sumptous visual treat

A unique film that stands out on its own. Usually movies that are based off of video games don't fare well but Prince of Persia Sands of Time is truly epic on its own accord. It has a hint of 'Aladdin' in it but differs and weaves its own mythos that draws the viewer in as the plot unfolds. The dagger of time I felt was the most fascinating piece of the movie and I also enjoyed the humor. It's got action/adventure, suspense, romance and eye-popping special effects. I adore the woman who played Princess Tamina because I felt she was a tremendous role model for women. Beautiful, intelligent, resilient and crafty. I love this movie. The action, suspense, romance and twist to keep you going thru the entire movie. The actions are right up there with Matrix

Great action and great story A++++

In this video game adaptation, Jake Gyllenhaal is Dastan, a price of Persia and must save the world from his evil step uncle Nizam (Ben Kingsley) who wants to use the sands of time to go back and make himself King in the place of his brother. Along the way he meets and falls in love with the Princess (Gemma Arterto).

This was a great movie filled with action and adventure, high flying stunts, intrigue and edge of the seat entertainment.

The movie also stars: Richard Coyle, Toby Kebbell, Ronald Pickup, Alfred Molina, and Steve Toussaint

This Disney Movie is PG-13 for violence. Some parents may want to watch it first before allowing younger children to watch. I would not hesitate to allow children over 13 to watch. It has a lot of good, strong moral values.Lire l'avis complet...

Arabian Knights All Over

I really loved this movie the special effects were amazing, Jake Gyllenhaal is a superb actor this movie is a cross between Sinbad and Arabian Knights.

Gyllenhaal? What?!

Are you kidding me?! That's Jake? He's actually pretty hot in this movie. I say it like that because I haven't really cared much for his acting or last roles since "The Day After Tomorrow" in 2004! Of course, thoroughly enjoying producer Bruckheimer's movies, I expected much out of it. The thing that actually kept me from watching this in the theater was because I knew he was the starring role. Now, I regret it! It's quite entertaining and funny. When this came out to rent, I ended up watching it 3 times before I returned it. Good story!!

good movie! very engaging story!!! The plot of the movie was filled with many twists and turns. should keep your family totally entertained to the end. Very clean and kid friendly!!!
