''all i wanted was a pepsi''
This 1997 greatest hits album is a fairly good overview of the career of punk/thrash pioneers Suicidal Tendencies. Here we get classics like "Institutionalized", "You Can't Bring Me Down", and "Lovely", along with some other great songs like "I Saw Your Mommy" and "Nobody Hears".
Then we've got "Go Skate!", a re-recording of "Possessed To Skate" which works just as well as the original. The album closes with "How Will I Laugh Tomorrow," which is still one of the best songs ST has ever done.
In short, if you want a little of everything Suicidal has done, get this record.Lire l'avis complet...
Prime cuts, Suicidal tendancies
Prime cuts is an excellent collection of music by the S.T.'s. Two of the tracks have differennt versions of previous songs. "Join the NEW army" is a re-make of "Join the army". And "Go Skate" is a re-make of "Possessed to skate"
Overall, Great guitar work and attitude mixed with high talent and quality engineering make this one of my favorites.Lire l'avis complet...
Not worth it
Suicidal got it right the first time. Just a long album of redubs of originals and they are not what we've come to expect from them. No grit or spontaneity like their original thrash

prime cuts (best of S.T.)
man, these people have a customer for life!the CD arrived faster than I expected,my friends have all heard this thing,if they all become customers I wont be surprised one bit.
Thrashy punk...good addition
Suicidal was always unique, and this is a fairly comprehensive overview of their catalog wrapped up in a 'geatest hits' package.
It is cool to revisit this after all the years that have passed, at risk of dating myself, but well worth it.
S.T. may not have ever recieved their full due, nor did they truly hit it 'big', but their brand of SoCal punk/thrash/funk lives on!
