Since Sanford has taken Davenport out of the swinging singles life and made him a family man now - Virgil Flowers seems to be Sandford's golden boy now. I would love to see him bring Davenport back in the vital, women loving, playboy cop that he used to be. Sandford's novels seem to have lost their luster without Davenport's violent nature mixed in - Regardless I love his style of writing bringing the reader inside the murderer's mind. Interesting but not up to prior Prey novels.

I've read all of the Prey books and I anxiously await for the next one to be published however this one was my least favorite. It seemed like the book didn't get interesting until Davenport re-started the investigation for the girls killer. It took too long for the author to give the readers the background on the case. It's not a bad read, just not as good as most of Sanford's work.Lire l'avis complet...

Davenport is in trouble again.

I have not read this yet but I know it will be good. Since Sandford wrote it. To me every book of his is wonderful....I'm a fan. I read them in order if I can find the ones I am missing. He does refer back to past books. Another character I can mention is a nun Lucas has a friend who helps solve his current crimes, when needed.Lire l'avis complet...

Sandford has never disappointed me.

I have read all the Prey books as well as the virgil Flowers .
Sandford has always been a pleasure to read .I hope this prey book will lead to other Davenport past cases.
