Another Heffalump treat!

Having discovered our toddler LOVED the original Heffalump Movie, we decided to try the Halloween Movie.
This movie which has a run time of 67 minutes features all the old favorite again such as Pooh, Tigger and Piglet but again we see and focus upon the wonderful friendship that Roo and Lumpy share, and that is very endearing! This time, however we have the halloween theme....pumpkins, lanterns and trick or treat. We found that our three year old loved it, though some aspects were a teeny bit scary, it certainly was not too intense.
This movie is often criticized for combining an old Disney movie - 'Boo to you to Winnie the Pooh' into the new, thus making it cheaper for Disney to produce. However for the audience for which this is intended, older toddlers and younger kids, this fact means little and the movie will captivate...however slightly older children familiar with the earlier move, may be disappointed with the repetition!Lire l'avis complet...

Heffalump Halloween Rocks!

My boys love this movie! After a lull in the love of all things Pooh, along came Lumpy and my boys were back in love with the 100 acre wood set! In fact, my sons love this Halloween Movie more than the original Heffalump movie. I rented it from Netflix, as I often do, and let the boys decide if they like the movie themselves by letting them watch it for a week and then taking it out of circulation, then if they ask for it later, then we know it is worth purchasing! It has really saved us a lot of money. It was great for my 2 year old to introduce him to trick or treating as Roo teacher Lumpy in the movie. Very cute! Good deal

Came as described. Just a few minor scratches and one little freeze/jump in a scene of no consequence. My Son loves this movie!

I love Pooh Bear but this movie is a little scary for kids and seems out of character for Winnie the Pooh!

Although our family loves Pooh Bear this movie is definitely our least favorite. It is a little scary and does not line up with Pooh Bears character. If you like Halloween you will probably enjoy it.Lire l'avis complet...

Great Halloween Movie!!

My son LOVES this movie! As a parent, I like the messages of being brave and loyal to your friends. My four year old loves the fun songs and the theme of 'scaring' yourself--he's been running around the house for a week now 'scaring' me by pretending to be a 'spookable', and I heard him explaining to his one year old brothers that Halloween was 'for being pretend scared, not really scared.' What you'd expect of Pooh

I've never been a Pooh fan myself, but 3yr old son LOVES the whole gang of friends. This movie is especially sweet because although they all are scared of the Gabloon for most of it, they all later realize there's nothing to be afraid of & the importance of staying together. Great lessons learned & a marvelous way of sending the message across.
(Funny that I should get the opportunity to write about this one because although it's closer to Christmas, my son happens to be watching this one now.)Lire l'avis complet...
