Raccoons Change the World...?

Well, not really. This is a look into Japanese folklore and the role raccoons played at one time. It takes us into 1960's Japan (a bit of modern history). I enjoyed how the raccoons transformed, and their silliness. In many ways, they acted quite human. One thing I felt would have made it better is, if it had been shorter. 2 hours was too much for this tale. It's not the fancy animation we have grown used to, but not the reason I gave it only 3 stars. The preview made it look much better than I found it to be. Another great movie from Studio Ghibli

I definitely recommend this movie! It’s charming it has heart, the characters are very cute, and there’s a good environmental message here too. Please watch it I hope you enjoy this! 🎉❤️❤️

The artwork and voice actor was pretty good. The story was enjoyable. Kids may enjoy it.

ok movie... not favorite... Should still own...

I love studio Ghibli films and Hayoa Miyazaki. and don't get me wrong i'm glad i own this and its still funny and interesting. but it definitely is not my favorite of the ghibli's. There are some cultural things i almost couldn't even take seriously... still good to have in your collection if you collect all Ghibli's and/or Miyazaki's... Very Environmental friendly. and almost all the voices are familiar from Futurama or Simpsons and more...Lire l'avis complet...

Pom Poko!

I like this movie because it's about a group of racoons fighting to save their home. The racoons learn to shape shift so they can fight the humans to leave their land. It's a children's movie, but there are some inappropriate things that happen. I'm not to sure about letting a small child watch this film because you'll be explaining something later to them. I'd suggest renting it first and watching it yourself. The story line is good, but just a few questionable things for children. Rent and watch the film before buying!Lire l'avis complet...

Great movie

Pom Poko

This movie is great and then within the last 2 minutes one of the characters breaks the forth wall and ruins the movie. It's based on shape-shifting raccoons that try to defend their territory from the Japanesse land developers. Huge message of nature preservation throughout the movie, but it's pushed down the throats of the audience until like I said the last few minutes.
