Major improvement over the initial installment. Capturing now works with a progress bar instead of how many consecutive loops a pokemon requires. This makes for more interesting captures. This game is a must have for any Pokemon fan.

This game is great. Though I thought the start was slow, it included necessary information for someone new to the series. Pokemon Ranger allows a player to interact with Pokemon in a way they never have before. Instead of just battling with Pokemon, you can travel with them to accomplish exciting tasks and missions.
Explore a vast and vibrant world and view Pokemon in their actual habitats. Rather than the normal Pokemon games which only allow you to randomly find a Pokemon, the player gets to experience seeing a Pokemon where they would actually live.
This game offers great new features from the first game in the series which allow the player to solve missions using any number of Pokemon. While some Pokemon are necessary to accomplishing tasks on missions I found it fun to try to complete missions with some of my favorites.Lire l'avis complet...

Best Pokémon game I’ve seen on writing alone

The writing for the game is the best part, the voice lines are great, the fighting and capturing mechanic is unique, the story is consistent. Overall a 10/10 game

New Experience

I just started playing this yesterday. I'm a huge fan of Pokemon and this game throws a whole new element at you. After spending countless hours playing Platinum, Ranger is a great sidekick. Granted, it's not a good nor as much as a staple Pokemon game like the main versions, but it does prove to be a great "companion" so to speak. For younger kids, may need help with the story line. Fun Game!

A nice game. Played it with my 6 yr old nephiew. Lots of reading in the story line. Older kids would not find it very challenging, though. Game kinda confusing at first because before we got to go catch Pokemon, we had to tour the school. Which was time consuming and boring! But we made it out and got to go play.
Pay close attention to the Target Clearing lesson so you remember how to choose the right Pokemon to clear target!

This game is so fun! It has some humor, lots of mystery, a pretty big world to explore, and lots of Pokemon to collect. It is easy enough for little kids to play, but still hard enough to keep teenagers on their toes! I loved it!! Not like the original Pokemon. Difficult to get into.

I am huge Pokemon fan. Pokemon came out when I was young and was instantly hooked on the games, toys, and show. I bought this game thinking it would be great to add to my collection of Pokemon video games. The game starts off slow. There is LOTS of talking which gets kind of annoying after 10 minutes. Pokemon Ranger is nothing like the original games (Fire Red, Ruby, etc.). The description of the game displays the obvious differences, but the game doesn't have that original Pokemon look. It looks nothing like the normal world in the other popular Pokemon video games. The game is fun for those who know Pokemon fairly well, and enjoy the franchise.
