Pokemon Ruby is a authentic one.

It is a authentic one which is not easy to find.

It had a save file and the same error that I have on my Emerald Cardridge. Battery has ran dry and clock based events don't occur. There is a way to fix it. You need to play Fire Red/Leaf Green and fix the computer with the gems. Afterwards when you connect FireRed or LeafGreen with Ruby,Sapphire or Emerald by trading or something that connects both games that annoying battery is dry error should disappear and the clock based events should work again.

Planning to erase the save file and start new game and then I will try connecting it to FireRed or LeafGreen.

If you want to complete the full dex you will need FireRed,LeafGreen,Emerald,Sapphire and Ruby. 2 GBA's and 2 adapters. You can get some pokemon only by Breeding.

Deoxys event,Lugia en Ho-Oh event, Celebi event and Mew events are almost impossible to get but you can buy reproduction versions of LeafGreen and Firered from a seller which also gives you shinies and the difficult event pokemon. Including the complete gen 1 and 2 pokemon.

Migration does not work on reproduction cardridges but trade still does. Reproduction cardridges are better played on an GBA only because reproduction cardridges that has events and shinies on it can get reset if you put it into a DS. Lire l'avis complet...

Pokemon Ruby Version (Nintendo Game Boy Advance, 2003)

This is a good game. Graphics are nice, and the pokemon are amazing. Only gripe about Hoenn is...well, WAY TOO MUCH WATER. But, that doesn't take away too much from the game. Team Rocket is replaced by the vicious Team Magma and the intelligent Team Aqua. With the fate of Hoenn in jeopeordy, you must journey to find answers pertaining to Team Magma's ignorant desicion too awaken the legendary Pokemon Groudon. It brings about blazing hate waves to Hoenn, and it is up to you to stop it. Can't give away the rest of the plot, haven't gotten that far into the game. The product is great! The game, not what I remembered…

The product worked as promised from the seller. I’m super happy this was available. Cartridge is in good shape.

But the game isn’t what I remembered. After being spoiled with the newer Pokémon games there were a lot of annoyances like no auto saving, using the tiny D-pad, and the need to hold down B to run. But those are minor annoyances. The game was shorter than I remember it being when I was a kid, but I imagine that was due to the little puzzles I needed to figure out as a kid being easier to figure out now. I finished the game in under 2.0 hours and the post-game incentives aren’t enough to keep me playing at the moment. I’ve just made it to groudon, and have jumped into Shining Pearl on Switch. I never played the original pearl, but this story is much longer and more intuitive than ruby.

If you’re looking for a nostalgic game to play this will scratch that itch. If you’re looking for a fulfilling game for hours of gameplay, then it might not be for you. Lire l'avis complet...

Authentic

This was a true authentic US version of the game. I’ve put in about 40 hours and everything is how I remember it as a kid. Of course, as a true authentic copy it is compatible with the other authentic games I have (trading, migrating, etc). A fun game for my son

My son had been bugging me to buy this game, though his brother already owned a copy that he plays. It was his choice instead of something else as a gift. I liked it because it was way cheaper than the ones in the store. The only thing he has has complained about was that it had been wiped clean and he wanted it not to be so he could get all the unlocked Pokemon, without having to play the whole game and finding out that certain Pokemon were no longer on it (meaning it was saved on someone else's Game Boy memory & no longer in the game itself. Also he wouldn't be able to trade them and such). Otherwise, I would recommended any of the Pokemon games as he would play this all day if I allow him.Lire l'avis complet...

Great game for the advance systems.
Few minor flaws or annoyances in this game are a lot better moves to use start in the next Gen 4
Sp. Atk and Physical Atk works differently in these earlier games, what I mean is that each attack is decided either special or physical based on the actual type of the move. For instance if you have a Blaziken trying to learn Blaze kick, this move would automatically be considered special because it is a fire move, even though from gen 4 onwards it is known as a physical move. So this sucks because say your Blazikens physical attack is high but his special isn't all of his fighting type moves would be strong but all of his fire type moves would be nerfed. To find out which types are consider special or physical visit serebii or pokemondb. One other annoyance with this game is your item bag, it fills up very quickly so if you run across a great item or tm there's a good chance your bag won't even have room for it so you'll have to get to a center or shop to either sell off some stuff or store it in the pc, and go all the way back and find it again.

Some great points to this game is the storyline for the most part is pretty cool. If you like catching legendaries later on you'll be glad to know there's a s**t ton in this game, like 6 or 7. Berries were introduced in this game so you can have fun using and growing those for gym battles. And whats cool to me is you get access to the daycare pretty early on in this one unlike freakin Fire Red (rolls eyes) so you can breed to your hearts content at the git-go. Game was in good condition and speedy delivery of the item.

My son loves playing Pokemon games. It is working pretty good. There were only a few minor glitches to this game. For example, it will stop for a second while saving a profile and each time he battles a gym leader, the music sounds a little different than normal. He really likes the fact that it is an older Pokemon game because he prefers playing the older games. He said that it is one of the easiest Pokemon games that he has played. Just what I ordered, in great shape. Attention to quality control is apparent.

I got it pretty quick, about a week after I ordered. It was in good shape, in a little protective case. There was a save file with the character's name as "test" proving the game had been tested before sending it out which I love. Pokemon Ruby - digital crack if I ever saw it!

Yeah, Ruby is about 5 years old, but who cares? It's still a great RPG and the fact that it's still an important part of your enjoyment of Diamond, Pearl and the forthcoming Platinum makes it even better. For those who don't know, having it plugged into your DS while you play D/P/P unleashes new Pokemon to find in the wild that would not have been there without it, not to mention it's one of only two places you can get a legit Groudon and Latios. To sum up, Ruby is still fun to play, and it makes Diamond, Pearl and Platinum better. And to top it off, the one I bought here was already loaded with powerful Pokemon, including a shiny Steelix! Expectations for this reproduction cartridge were low since it is being sold for such a low price but WOW does this thing perform!
