Great!! with 5 different games. Well worth buying.
I bought this game for my DS because i love pogo online. This way i figured i could have a portable pogo for trips, while waiting at the dr. etc. It has five games from pogo online plus an adventure mode where you have to find your pogo friends and fix your ship so its like having 6 games really. Also you can transfer any tokens you earn on the game to your pogo account online. What a GREAT bonus. Tihs is a good game to adults and teens. For younger children one of the games you have to be able to spell well so it would have to be older kids. It is great entertainment for adults though. Included on this game are Word Whomp (a spelling game), Tri-Peaks solitaire (a card game), Poppit (a balloon popping game), Squelchies (making matches with fish) and Phlinx - a falling marble game. Pogo Not just 4 Online
My favorite games wrapped into one tiny DS cartridge is GREAT.
I like the fact that I don't have to go online all the time to play my games I can turn on my sons DS (when he's not playing) and have fun and earn tokens.
Another cool thing is that I can transfer my tokens I win on the game to my Online Pogo Account, all I needed was a Wi-Fi connection to link them up.
That was a cool feature.
The games you can play are Poppit, Tri-Peaks Solitaire, Phylinx, Squelchies, and Word Whomp.
You can play the games regularly or you can play in adventure mode and do different challenges to repair your ship.
This game is good for all ages. My son is 4.5 and he likes fooling on my pogo, but I don't like him playing in rooms with chats so this is a nice alternative for him.
My mother in law plays as well as grandparents, so I recommend this to anyone of any age.Lire l'avis complet...
A definite must for puzzle-goers.
I was initially interested in this product because it boasted five games that you can find on the gaming site, Pogo.com. I fell in love with 'Phlinx' playing it on-line. Now I can play it on my DS! Along with 'Phlinx' (a marble shooting skill game), I enjoy 'Word Whomp' (a game where you are given 6 letters and you try to make as many 3, 4, 5, & 6 letter words from them as you can), 'TriPeaks' (an interesting solitaire-like card game), 'Poppit' (a strategy puzzle game where you pop groups of like-colored balloons, trying to leave the least number possible unpopped), and 'Squelchies' (another strategy, almost tetris-like game with multi-colored fish).
While the latter two are good games, the first three are my favorite. Had this product only contained 1 of these first three games it would, in my opinion, be worth the buy. But, instead, you get a tremendous value with ALL FIVE games. It is like have 5 games in one cartridge. My teenage daughter and I both love it. Fantastic
I love playing pogo on the internet so this is exactly like the games on pogo.com but it was for on the go when I can't be at the computer. I bought it because advertising for it had caught my eye. It is so fantastic a family member wanted it but because it wasn't available anywhere I looked to ebay to get one. Now she is hooked on the game. The games in the "adventure" makes it more fun too or you can choose to just play the pogo games like Poppit, Word Whomp,Tri Peaks,etc. I don't have wi-fi but if someone does it gives you the option to take points earned and put them into your pogo.com account.Lire l'avis complet...
Pogo Island, the best game ever
I bought this game twice. I bought it as the first game for my Nintendo DS-Lite. I am a big fan of the pogo website and their games so was very excited to find this game for the Nintendo DS. The games are fun, and not your typical kiddie video games. They make you think and have fun at the same time. I love that you can go on an Island adventure and play games randomly or if you already have a favorite between the many games it comes with (Poppit, Word Whome, Tri-Peak Solitarie, Squichies, Phynx) then you can just play those games. Pogo Island
My niece gave me this game to try and I had to buy my own. I haven't played the whole game yet (saving that for when my own arrives) but I have enjoyed the 4 games offered. They have different levels, easy, medium and hard - which makes it great for everyone and for what mood you are in. Each game is short and doesn't require a lot of time - that is what I really loved. Pogo Island for the Whole Family
I am greatly enjoying Pogo Island. The five games are my favorites and I love being able to take Pogo with me.
This game is one for the whole family. Definitely kid-safe in all aspects. Even if you don't play Pogo online, the games are enjoyable. In free-play, each game may be played on Easy, Medium, or Hard, allowing the player to master the game in order to complete the Pogo Island Adventure. Not quite what I expected.
The game itself is different than the website, but it does include the games it describes. The story part is similar to MarioParty, and it's not bad, just different. I do love the fact that you can just play the games without having to do the story mode. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone looking for the games off of pogo.com, and just because it's different doesn't mean you aren't going to like it.Lire l'avis complet...
Love this game
My kids and I love this game!! Its a great purchase for anyone who loves Pogo games. There is only 2 things we dislike bout it and the 1st being the fact u need to 2 game cartridges to link and play against one another and the 2nd that u cant save the poppit demo for later plays.
