I have owned these since they came out. They are a great hard working earpiece. Once you learn when to turn features off and on. Have even had great clear calls while riding the harley without helmet.
You do have to replace every year or so if you use as daily device.. people will start saying you sound like you are fading back and forth. There is no fix for this. Have asked plantronics about it. They just replace it when still under warrantee.. its a known issue.
There are a few mics in the boom. Once they start to get clogged you will have to replace.
Its a headset that i cant live without. So i will keep getting then till they come out with a better one.. or resolve issues.. but issues are minor compared to what you get.
These also boast they're water resistant. Spilled some cold coffee on last one and it died right away... so not as resistant as you would think... but have road in the rain a few times with no issues...
I do recomend this product because its lightweight and call clarity cant be beat... its a daily need once you get ise to it. Makes life much easier with your phone. I use the alexa feature all the time also... it works great... Lire l'avis complet...

meh--design improvements not so good.
i'm disappointed, i've been using plantronics for years now; this is my fifth or sixth one. but the design hurts my ear where it rubs on the back, the earpiece is oversized (though there are other earpieces included there is too much hard plastic and not enough cushion on them), the charge doesn't last nearly as long as my old ones did, and the buttons on it are harder to push-i have to use three fingers to hang up a call, instead of just one as it is harder to push. the only more positive feature i can think of is that it stays in my ear a bit better when hugging someone and wearing winter coats etc. Lire l'avis complet...

Plantronics Voyager 5220
I was looking for a headset that was unique and that could keep up with the busy lifestyle I have and could handle the many tasks that I do in life. I finally found one, and its the Plantronics Voyager 5220.
The Plantronics Voyager 5220 is a very robust earpiece that operates in any environment and has the capability to eliminate background noises that would make it impossible to take a call. It makes it very easy to take calls outside in windy conditions, as well as in the car with the window down. I even took a call while I was riding my motorcycle, of which I am very happy I went with this particular brand.
Now it does have some faults, the earpiece doesnt quite fit in my ear so I find sometimes I have to press the headset to my ear for a good seal to hear clearly, but overall, it beats my Hg HBS780 hands down, any day of the week in sound quality and operation. Now I don't have to worry about broken cables or fumbling with headset around my neck. I also like that is light and easy to operate.
One this I found with any Bluetooth headset is the software designed to operate it from an Android phone is lacking in its ability to interface in the manner I require. Samsung voice, and Google voice were in competition to manage phone calls so I found that Google voice works better than Samsung, so I disabled it and this headset works perfect. It even operates very well with Google Maps, announcing turns and updates; something that Samsung voice didn't handle very well.
Overall, this headset is excellent, and to make it exceptional, I purchased the portable power case for the 5220 so that I can go for days without charging it. If you purchase the Plantronics Voyager 5220, you will not be disappointed!!!!Lire l'avis complet...

Awesome but they made it too small
I have used Plantronics' high-end earpieces for a decade. The features of this model are absolutely awesome, but they reduced the size for people with smaller ears, and it is very uncomfortable for a few months until you break it in. The features are better than the Legend by far. I lost my 5200 and just bought this second one to replace it. That's how I know the comfort does get better with use. Comfort is not as good as the Legend though, even after break-in. I would give it 5+ stars if it were not for the comfort issue.Lire l'avis complet...

Received a defective headset. The microphone does not work at all.
Contacted customer support on Wednesday before a Thursday holiday. No response on Friday and they're closed on the weekend. Will update when resolved. Like the headset very much otherwise. Sound quality is very good on my end. Note that the earpiece does not extend as far into the ear as older Plantronics headsets. I wouldn't own any other brand
Nobody makes a headset like Plantronics, I had some problems with their earlier models that were all covered by warranty and once they redesigned the unit so moisture did not get into it, they've been the only one I use for over 10 years. I've had to replace them due to battery issues, but that is to be expected since it's glued to my ear for 12 to 16 hours a day. I've given them as gifts to family and business associates and they all love them for the sound quality battery life, and other features.

Absolute Best Blue Tooth ever!
Fit perfect! Great sound quality. Pairs easily and doesn't drop the phone constantly like some Bluetooths. Music plays beautifully through it. I use my bluetooth constantly because it allows me to catch a call while I continue working, and similarly when I drive, can catch a call without taking my eyes off the road. Great headset
I was looking for headset to use for work. So far it works really well - no one complains about sound quality any more.
It’s very well designed. It has enough ear tips to fit in the ear well.
I love the separate mute button, and reminders if start speaking on mute - the headset tells you. Caller ID works well - helps when you are not near your phone.

Great headset! Excellent upgrade from Voyager Legend!
Upgrade from the Voyager Legend which had 1000's of hours of use and was still working. This model is a great upgrade with better sound, better noise cancellation, similar battery life, and similar fit. The charging connections work better. Seller was deceptive, claiming item was new, but it was clearly used/refurbished.
It was supposed to be NEW, in an unopened box. Instead I received what was clearly a refurb. It arrived in a plastic bag with no packaging, no manual. Upon inspection I could see the units (ordered 2ea) were actually different, with one coming with a set of different colored ear inserts (clearly from a different 5200 model.
