Decent game for fans of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Decent game, more for fans of the franchise than gamers.
I am a huge fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, an purchased this game out of devotion to my fandom, just to try it out. The game wasn't awful, but you could tell it was made for the fans. The gameplay was, for lack of a better word, trivial. The controls were strange and uncoordinated and I was often slightly frustrated. However, the story follows Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest and At World's End's main plot, but also goes into other subplots along the way.

Imaginitive, but the creators Blew it from the start

The only thing I can say about this game is the creators blew it from the start. Nearly all games are based upon right hand players; meaning the lower right button on the control is used to move the avatars forward, backwards, and side to side. In this game these movements are controlled by the upper left button which makes transition difficult and frustrating from the onset. Likewise the movements are more "sideways" in visual viewing which gives the illusion of a "fun house effect" and causes you feel like you are swaying as drunkenly as Jack Sparrow and stumbling while trying to move from place to the next. In short, where in most games it appears you are looking directly ahead as if seeing through the avatar's eyes all you see is the avatar making moving it from place to place tedious. When picking up objects and attempting to break into things such as the cells in the very first scene, all you see is Jack's face and not the cell or its contents or even where you are placing the bar, etc...

In short, they botched this game to the max and I trashed it within a short period of putting it into play. I SIMPLY COULD NOT GET INTO IT... and neither will you....Lire l'avis complet...

even voice too, I know if they entered this game, it need more money lol;;
Game has kind of cripy part in achievement which is collecting soul of your enemy, but it is not really hard, it just was consuming my time.
if you want to earn 1000points for xbox 360, you need to get this game. the 1000points of xbox 360 is kinda easy. you just need to spend your time for points. game playing was good but its graphic was not from nowadays games. but you can do simple for fun!Lire l'avis complet...

Good game overall!! wouldn't buy though, rent maybe.

I bought this game as a gift for my little cousin. she's really into the whole Pirates scene so of course she enjoyed the game. Thing is she finished the game within 2 weeks and she doesn't even play that much at all.

The graphics are good, what you would expect for an xbox 360 game, even the sounds, right down to the sword fights is pretty realistic and sounds very good. No complaints on the quality of the game play, its pretty good.

But overall, unless you enjoy games that you can finish really fast, or you are really a pirates lover and don't mind playing things over again because of your love for the whole pirates theme, i would stick to renting this game for a week. Vale a pena!

Excelente jogo, muito realista, vale a pena para toda a família. No Fim do Mundo não é apenas cobrir mais recente filme de Piratas, mas Baú da Morte também. A primeira metade do jogo cobre os eventos em O Baú da Morte, até a luta com o Kraken, e na segunda metade do jogo segue os eventos em No Fim do Mundo. O jogo principal será levá-lo de 5-6 horas para passar, mas cada nível tem itens escondidos e baús você pode caçar por realizações. Você começa a jogar como Jack, Elizabeth, Will, e um punhado de outros personagens para viver todas as suas espadas e fantasias pirataria. Há também um modo multiplayer onde você pode jogar co-op ou competitivo contra os inimigos em desafios com tempo marcado, mas não é toda a diversão que, desde a jogabilidade é tão limitado (mais sobre isso abaixo). Você pode fazer um-em-um duelos no multiplayer, o que é interessante por um tempo. Pirates of the Caribbean:At World's End (Xbox 360)

I had just bought an Xbox and was looking for some games that I could play myself or with my grandchildren (7, 10 and I'm 52). Having liked the movie I thought this would be a good game. My youngest grandson gets a little frustrated sometimes, but overall loves the game. Even my 30 year old daughter who isn't considered a "gamer" LOVES this game. It is challenging and does stick to the movie characters. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes to be challenged a little but likes the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I wouldn't recommend it for the younger kids as it may be more frustrating than fun, but for the adults and older kids, if they like to have a game have a plot and successfully complete missions I would recommend it.Lire l'avis complet...

Sorry for the lame review title, I can't think right now because I'm sick. But seriously, who doesn't like pirates? I love pirates. I would give a million dollars to somebody if I could have the chance to be a pirate like Captain Jack. Captain Jack made the world love pirates. I have never played this game but I saw some gameplay for it. I do not know how good it will be, but I have a feeling I won't mind. If you love pirates as much as I do, you'll like this game. fun and beautiful game with good textures.

the game is good finished, nice textures and good graphics. the gameplay, camera movements and fight moves are good. the game was made for children. and in all disney´s game you may notice the absence of blood.
