I like Perma-Coil products
I find the Perma-Coil products to be a great cost effective alternative to some of the other name brands. Nothing against those brands - they are great but I'm not doing production. Just an occasional repair. Perma-Coil gets my vote.Lire l'avis complet...

Works exactly how it should. Permanent fix to a stripped bolt hole.
It was surprisingly hard to find a thread repair for such a small size (8-32). This came with a good quality tap and plenty of inserts. No tool to break the little tab off, though, I just used a small Allen wrench.Lire l'avis complet...

Very good quality tap. Plenty of inserts provided and an installation tool that works! No drill bit provided, but they tell you what size to use.

Perma coil thread repair tool
The thread insertion tool has a tendency to stretch to coil during insertion so be sure your tapped threads are full diameter and very clean.
