Amazing story of a culture fast disappearing in their own lands... Allegorical in many ways and painfully real in others.. Highly recommend this story of native America.

Need a little faith

I bought this book for a college class. We read it right away, and I had no idea what to expect. A tale of survival for a World War two Native American veteran on the reservation on which he lives turns out to be more than he can handle and spiritual guidance is needed. You don't have to believe in karma to realize those who did the veteran wrong need to pay. Very interesting first read.Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent book. I loved it!

Excellent book. The plot is circular with flashbacks but interesting and very different. I loved it!
I bought it for English 101(college reading & comprehension I)and had to read the book for an essay. I'm glad I did because otherwise I would not have knowned about the book or the writer. More interesting than Shakespeare by far!Lire l'avis complet...
