The tone is spot on to my toontrack amps. Its absolutely got the tone, elasticity and sustain that gets you excited, especially with a drop A tuned baritone. The boost and tight functions are a great addition. It powers a 4x12 cabinet with ease. Full bodied tone. Plenty loud enough to play with a live drummer. The noise gate..... well it works but not as good as I hoped. Needed a threshold knob. Its fixed, so its either in or out. Bought a $70 pedal to play with and it works 100% perfect with dual input and FX loop hook up. All in all I highly recommend it. The clean channel is absolutely clean. A BIG departure from previous peavey amps. Yes it only has low and high, but you'll be surprised about it. Haven't tracked with it yet. Probably just use it for writing but wouldn't feel outgunned in a band situation with it.Lire l'avis complet...

love this amp and recommend it to all that like more gain.

Love the tones and how easy it is to setup and play. you definitely want to buy an additional footswitch so you can control all features. i like the xlr out and how easy it was to do direct recording. wish i had discovered this amp a long time ago. Lire l'avis complet...
