Easy and convenient camera setup
This camera does the job and is very easy to install. The video feed is clear during both day and night, and it’s pretty quick to turn on when putting into reverse. It was easy to setup since the receiver is incorporated into the camera instead of having to be separately mounted. The picture quality isn’t as good as my wife’s auto-vox, but does put better light in night situations. The camera also has a lot more lag than my wife’s camera too, which both are wireless but hers has the receiver seperate. The thing that stops this from being 5 stars is the lag and video quality, but both not show stoppers, just enough to be of notice. Lire l'avis complet...

Peak Backup Camera
The backup camera was easy to install and worked fine without any hitches. The instructions are well written easy to follow. I am using the camera on a RV and it seems to work great, even at 40 feet, the signal is strong. The function buttons are well placed and easy and quickly understandable. The picture is a little grainy but well within the expectations for the price and has a good viewing angle (a problem I have seen for displays in this price range). This is better (in respect installation, signal, monitor durability) than the digital RVS I had on the last RV at third the price. Time will tell on the reliability.Lire l'avis complet...

2nd one I bought
I bought a Peak backup camera for our car and now installed one on the van. Works great. Hardest part was figuring out how to snake the wires. Color is not he best but you can clearly identify what's behind you. And for the price, this is a good deal.Lire l'avis complet...

Back up camera
The peak back up camera system is great in daylite hrs. Not so good at nite. Nite tiime is not clear at all. Overall is a good buy for the price. Shipping was great fast and two days early.

4 inch Peak back up camera
I purchased this Peak 4 inch camera in hopes to replace a part on the camera that I installed years ago. Parts were not compatible and installed the new camera. It was a easy process and works great.

Good after market back up camera.
The digital version is the follow on to the old analog version. The transmitter is now integral to the camera and is supposed to overcome any signal interference issues. There is no separate transmitter unit. So far it has worked great 30 ft away from the camera.
My old analog still works well, but the cameras either leaked or fogged up eventually. Peak was nice enough to send a replacement. I got this one as an add on to place on a boat trailer. Supposedly you can view two cameras on the same monitor.
Be careful purchasing as both versions have the same model no. The digital version says "Digital" on the label and the camera is square and surrounded by LEDs.Lire l'avis complet...

Good, but....
The camera and monitor are fine, but the wires supplied for the transmitter are too short for my Dodge Ram (6'4" bed). I believe anyone with a full=size pickup will have similar issues.

Great value but had to find
These back up cameras work great. They are a good value for the price when on sale. Unfortunately they are hard to find.

Great camera. SUVs raise the stakes for installation.
The camera works great with a strong (full bars) signal in a small SUV. The only thing is, SUV installation involves routing wires through the liftgate and into the main part of the vehicle to tie into the reverse lamps-- not just mounting and clamping onto mostly-exposed wires in a car or pickup. Also, you will need more cable to reach, unless the tail lights are on the liftgate. I butt-spliced some spare speaker wire onto the cable; otherwise, Peak sells a kit. I experienced no noise, fuzz, or camera on-delay whatsoever. It sounds like Peak is stand-up about honoring warranty from what others have said too.Lire l'avis complet...
