It can be used as a kit af lens for BMPCC

I use this lens as an af zoom lens on my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. I cannot tell it a high-quality lens, but it is quite cheap, it is easy-to-use, especially for taking video, and it has a
convenient focal lengts for work with BMPCC which has a MFT sensor.
It is quite durable, and its image has a sufficient sharpness, but the color gamut is no
so fine. Generally, I can say, it is a quite good af lens which can be used as kit lens

Not the best lens for MFT but does a good job overall.

I bought this lens to use with a panasonic GX-7 camera which I love but was a bit tapped out for a more expensive lens at the time. The picture quality is good, probably great for the price. Useful zoom range and seems to be fairly well made. The in lens stabilization works well especially in lower light/ slower shutter speed situations. There are more compact zooms available and there are higher quality lenses with wider aperture but for the price it is hard to beat this lens.Lire l'avis complet...

The pancake lens works more than just breakfast

This little lens has a big ego and deservedly so. It is nice to have a camera I can put in my pocket and this lens on the Panasonic gf5 lets that happen. A quality lens for nearly any purpose

This covers the equivalent of 24 to 120mm focal lengths for 35mm cameras. That covers most situations for most users; perfect for a walkaround camera. Except at the very long end of it's range, it produces very sharp, contrasty images. It also has decent capability in the macro range.

It doesn't have the largest maximum apertures, but there aren't any zooms that I know about that are more than one-half of an f-stop faster.

Lumix vario not as good as olympus lens but ok

Lumix using olympus lens is quite good even in reduced light, better than when I use panasonic lens. Nice small mobile camera to carry with me instead of my larger nikon.

Not a great performer, but adequate when your best isn't essential.

Not a great performer, but I was aware of that going in. I am a dedicated / invested micro four thirds user and wanted a compact zoom to take along with me when on the bicycle. Focus in not terribly accurate, but it's not altogether bad. Keepers are usually worthwhile, but it will not come close to what you get with either of the two original Lumix pancake lenses (20mm f1.4 or 14mm f2.5). With that said, it shoots decent video and is a pretty easy unit to operate. Size is ideal and it makes a great lens for casual travel and shooting on the go. Have used it on my GF1, GX1, and GH3 and have not seen a huge difference between the various bodies. If you're needing your best, it's a versatile little lens that can come in handy in a variety of different settings. great walk around lens. Price is right.

Lens is new as claimed. Lens is in good operating condition. (Did not come with box). I like the lens for ease of use. Good for street photography. Fast and quiet. Sharp photos especially from 20mm to 30mm. I also have the kit lens that came with the camera. They both take the same quality photos but the PZ is much smoother and smaller.
