Great little camera. Love the 30x telephoto.
Has so many features that it's hard to remember what to do. When trying to use the viewfinder, the screen and viewfinder sometimes go black, and must pull camera away from face and wait until they re-activate. I suppose that will fix itself once I get more experience with the camera. When trying to focus, sometimes get several squares on screen and get confused about why so many (3-4); I don't see that many faces in the frame.Lire l'avis complet...

Not great in low light conditions
Great camera in good light conditions but is otherwise almost useless because of all the noise it brings in low-light conditions. Wish I had believed the reviews complaining about this aspect when I did my research on this camera. Otherwise, video is beautiful and there are lots of manual controls.Lire l'avis complet...

A Lot In A Small Package
If you can only have one camera and it must be small for under $400, this is the one.
The camera is not inexpensive, but it has tons of features that function well and excellent image quality. There are only 2 things I consider drawbacks. The case is made of plastic rather than metal (be careful if you want to take it on adventures) and not all of the features are easy to use/intuitive. Do not purchase this camera unless you are already familiar with it; Panasonic does not support eBay purchasesrs.
This unit produces high-quality images at a not unreasonable price *but* it is extremely hard to use, and the manual is opaque and virtually worthless. Try as hard as I could, I could only produce jpg/raw images only on the C setting.
Further, be aware that Panasonic does not provide phone support for this unit, only chat support, which is also virtually worthless. *Further, be aware that even chat support is not provided from eBay purchasers, even those who bought new cameras.*
After I ascertained that I would never be able to properly use the camera for these reasons, I returned it to the seller, who treated me very well.
For this reason, stay away from this camera.

More than I expected.
The ZS70 replaced our 10 year old Fuji 10.2 mxpl point and shoot camera. Quite an upgrade indeed! I am impressed that I can finally take clear action pictures. With my old camera the subjects would already be out of the frame by the time the image finished processing, or the subjects would be blurry. The 4k images and video quality blew me away when I played it back on a big screen. Great product Panasonic...again!Lire l'avis complet...

This camera does almost everything you would want
I have only had this camera for a short time. It takes very nice pictures with excellent resolution. It even shoots in 4K photo and 4K video. The only thing that I think is a problem is that the manual from Panasonic is very hard to use. It does not explain very well how to program the settings of the camera. Unless you are experienced in photography you may have some difficulty. That being said the camera is well worth considering. The 30x zoom works very well.Lire l'avis complet...

I Have used a DS 50 pocket camera for many years with excellent results and decided to upgrade, wow did I ever the DC-ZS70K Is way more than expected great menus, great features ease of use throughout with picture quality near my $3500.00 camera. a super value

Hefty in weight and features
This definitely isn't a simple digital camera that I would recommend to a total beginner, but this camera is definitely reliable. I was impressed by the amount of features, and especially impressed by the quality of night shots!
If you're looking for something lightweight, I'd pass on this camera. It's heavier than any other compact I've dealt with, but the weight isn't unbearable. It's almost comforting in my shaky hands.Lire l'avis complet...
