Michael's Guitar Returns.

One of Michael's best albums.
Probably the best other than the first 2 albums, as in all 3 cases, Michael was doing what he does best, which is the guitar instrumentals.
Also, the recording of "Oracle", was inspired by Michael being reunited with his favorite guitar after 10 yrs, that had been stolen.

Classic Hedges guitar work. Jitterboogie is amazing and the cover of Zappa's Sofa 1 is great. If you like acoustic guitar that pushes the boundaries Michael Hedges is for you. "Gospel" is incrdible and the Beatles cover that it segues into is fantastic. There are some slower more new age sounding pieces that are not as interesting as they seem to ech his past work but the album as a whole is wonderful.Lire l'avis complet...
