EP728 - An excellent budget projector

The Optoma EP728 is an exceptional projector for the budget minded and will meet the need of most business and home applications.

While this projector will not provide true 1080 HD (due to scaling to it's native resolution) the picture quality is excellent and provides a bright, beautiful image in 720 HD. The difference would be slightly visible closer on a smaller surface, but it's nearly imperceptible at a distance on larger screens.

Our primary use for our Optoma EP728 is for projecting movies in our outdoor theater onto a 12'x20' screen and at 2700 lumens / 2200:1 contrast ratio, it provides a full, brilliant picture.

Indoors on a light gray screen it displays an amazingly clear, sharp picture on a 144" diagonal screen - even in the presence of moderate ambient light.

Another bonus of the EP728 is that - at the time of this writing - replacement lamps are reasonable priced and can be had (bare lamp) in the $140-170 range.

I highly recommend the Optoma EP728 for all but the pickiest of videophiles.Lire l'avis complet...

One of the best DLP projectors I've seen

For those of you considering a DLP project this is a very nice one. Replacement lamps are available at a much lower cost that most DLP projector. And despite what people will tell you this is HD at 1027x768, HD is 720, and there are no television shows broadcast in 1080p.Lire l'avis complet...
