Too Good To Be True, But It Is!
I can't believe the price. This flash is as good as several Nikon flashes that cost $250-$550. The features are great. The build quality is great. Very impressed
I am amazed that a flash unit that is so cheap works and is built so well. I am very impressed. I honestly don't expect it to last forever like I would a Nikon SB-800 or my Metz 54 but with that said I have been using the Opteka flash more and more. The lightweight but solid design is just fantastic again this is a dirt cheap flash. If I didn't know what brand it was and picked it up having never used one I would expect it to be a $150+ flash unit.Lire l'avis complet...

A GOOD VALUE
I like the flash. I am still trying to figure everything out. Sometimes when I follow the instructions, it is very hard to do to understand what is happening.
I wish it came with some colored gels. A set of colored gels with a diffuser is under $10.
I am enjoying the challenge of learning how to use all the features. To use a fill flash off the camera and synced is great as well as all the other features.

WOULD RECEIVE 5 STARS BUT.....
I’m not sure what 3rd party speedlite this mimics but it’s a pretty high flash speedlite when using energizer rechargeable batteries. Gives off a 5500k temp. Very bright blue. Recycles under 2 seconds even at full power. Would love to use Godox power pack battery with this.
TTL works flawlessly on and off camera must set your settings in camera the right way for it to receive signal in i-TTL mode off camera. I use a Nikon and it works perfectly.
It’s not mentioned in the details nor in the manual that it has high speed sync capabilities when speedlite is on camera. That’s a major plus.
Only con to this speedlite reason it didn’t get 5 stars would be the Manual S1-S2 at 1/1-1/4 off camera stopped working while using camera flash to trigger the speedlite. The speedlite goes off but it’s not syncing. It starts to work around 1/8 power.
I would suggest to purchase a trigger and receiver when buying this. All in all very good speedlite for the price high quality built.Lire l'avis complet...

Great entry level flash loaded with features!
This thing is fantastic. I haven’t really messed with a flash much since the film days when I was shooting fully manual anyway. This thing syncs perfectly with my D5200. The flash is bright(but highly adjustable). It comes with 3 options to defuse/bounce. It recycles efficiently. I love this product
This flash is very compact and works well with my D3100 and D5000. I can compensate my light on the flash itself instead on my camera.

The Speedlight fit my Nikon D2X perfectly and I can now take photos using a flash!
The Flash would shut down after 10 minutes. It may be part of the unit to save the batteries. All you have to do is turn it off then back on.

A little over rated , But so far a great little flash.
As far as I can tell, its a great little flash, Now I said Little. The 130 Ft guide number is more like 40 Feet @ Iso 100. But then again they may be calculting the guide number in a different way. But its a $30 Flash and it compact and it fires every time. Im using mine for macro work , so it don't have to be so powerful.Lire l'avis complet...
