Must Have Lens for your bag
Purchased this lens for my travel kit and it has been the best purchase I've ever made. It's going to be on my camera all the time now. Why?
1. Top notch quality glass & optics
2. Excellent Aperture - that's why you're looking at a Prime Lens anyway right? And inside of the museum/palace where they don't allow a flash - it's perfect because it works in such low light.
3. Field of View - PERFECT for both street photography, landscape, and those "tourist" shots that don't fit in a traditional lens.
4. Light weight
I have had very good luck doing close focus wide angle with this lens as well, another bonus.
I bought a 17mm prime lens as well, as reviews pointed to that lens as better for "street" work - but this one actually makes a better image I feel.Lire l'avis complet...
superb WA lens for MFT
Making a good wide angle lens for a tiny MFT sensor is a tough job and Olympus once again proved it's the best in this class.
The 12mm f/2.0 has its all: sharp, wonderful color, fast focusing, minimal CA wide open.
It's small, light, well built and overall feels just right !
I'd say it's a bit too expensive, but if you want perfection, you have to pay for it ! :)
Overall I highly recommend it to everyone looking for top wide angle performer.Lire l'avis complet...

Best Olympus Prime Lens- I got a great copy for around $500 !
Everybody shooting mfts cameras want fast and wide, and this is the best prime made by Olympus. I was able to shoot without flash at an indoor super bowl party at ISO 800 and 1/10 of a second(shutter priority) with no blur with my EP3. When you combine f2 and IBIS, the EP3 is fantastic. I can't even do this with an f1.4 lens on me Nikon D700(without kicking up the ISO to 1600). I wish Nikon would put IBIS in an upgrade(Maybe 24megapixels)to the D700. Would rather shoot my Olympus, than a D600 or D800. The lens I received was immaculate, and operates flawlessly - Haven't tried Manual Focus - because auto focus has been exceptionalLire l'avis complet...
Small, sharp, wide, fast focus, and nice color rendition
Love this lens. I got a lucky deal on it and glad I bought it.
Excellent lens for any M43 Application.
It is a great lens, but since I have to sell the DJI Osmo Pro X5, I don't need this lovely M43 prime lens anymore. I already have 12mm covered in zoom lenses for my existing Panasonic and Olympus M43 kits, so can't justify having this one, too. Sold it to a happy buyer!Lire l'avis complet...

12mm f2 travel lens
I purchased the 12mm f2 for it's size. The sharpness of the lens is excellent except at f2 in the corners which are a little soft, if your pixel peep. It was not worth the extra money and size for the pro zoom, 12-40mm f2.8. This is an excellent lens and would recommend it for travel, street photography, and landscape work.Lire l'avis complet...

great lens, must buy used since retail price is too expensive for value
still sharp in the middle and corners at 2.0.
This lens is as wide as can be on my bmpcc without noticeable distortion, from my experience.
I kind of wish it had full manual controls on the barrel though, it does not. It only has focus manual controls.Lire l'avis complet...
