fun, toy camera lens
Those looking for speed and exemplary image quality in this lens are deluding themselves - and are missing the point entirely! The purpose of this lens is to replicate the inexpensive camera experience from decades long gone. Despite the lens elements being made of glass, this is a toy lens, and its use requires the adoption of a particular kind of photographic philosophy - love of simplicity and spontaneity, the low tech, and vintage/analogue images. I mount this to my Oly EP1 and point and shoot it like an old Kodak Instamatic - usually with the image mode set to Monochrome, Orange Filter, and the contrast bumped up to +1. The image is contrasty and sharp in the center. The edges of the image are softer and do have some vignetting. In B&W, this little gem makes some very dramatic images. The lens is very easy to use. It has a constant aperture of f8, so set your camera to aperture priority. It is manual focus with three focal points: Infinity, hyperfocal distance (set it there and shoot pretty much everything!) and focus to 0.3 meters/1 foot. If you are looking to inject more fun and spontaneous creativity into your photographic experience, then lens is a blast and you will greatly enjoy it! If you are a gear head who believes in the utmost in image quality and technical standards, then feel free to move on. This lens wasn't made for you.Lire l'avis complet...

Not good at all.
Why would anyone spend a ton of money on an expensive camera and then turn it into $2.50 disposable camera by buying this body cap lens?
You would have to have rocks in that pumpkin you call head to take pictures with the body cap lens.
If you want pocket camera use your cell phone, you will get much, much better results.Lire l'avis complet...

Compact and ready for use...
This lens isn't the widest ever but makes the camera ready and quick to use. Not bad for a "walk around" lens outdoors in bright light.

Good lens for fantastic price and great size..
For the price, the lens is fantastic. Great size, very compact just like your cap lens. Manual focus but easy to use. I have a lot of fun using it. Image quality not too sharp though but acceptable, for fun. I mean, you should not expect to much for this lens at this price range, right? I would recommend this product as an additional micro 4/3 lens collections.Lire l'avis complet...
Not Much More Than a Body Cap
The images from this lens are marginally acceptable and not any better than a cheap point & shoot camera...Your money would be best spent elsewhere.

Fun
With this on my Pen, the camera slides easily in any pocket. It is reasonably sharp, but nowhere near the standard optics. But it may often come in handy. A tad expensive in my view.
A GREAT LITTLE LENS after you set your micro 43 for manual lenses
I had to go to youtube to learn how to set PEAKING on the Olympus E-M10. This setting lets you see how sharp the focus in when shooting in the manual mode. watch?v=qROSbB-MBLg

Artistic lens
Limited in that you need to be shooting with lots of light, but when the conditions are right, the images it produced were quite nice
