great mobile antenna

although an offshore manufacturer, good quality and well constructed, yes its a knockoff on other wander lead mobile antennas, but easy to tune and use. One niggle, I would replace the allen set screw on the whip for a hardened one, especially if you make constant adjustments.
I purchased mine to dedicate to a 75 meter frequency, since my sd330 doesnt like to tune that low.Lire l'avis complet...

good product for the money

good price for what you get but it is a bit annoying to have to take the antenna down to change bands.

An Excellent Multi-Band Antenna

With the purchase of a newer car, I had been looking for a multi-band to reduce the proliferation of antennas., add to that, I wished for an antenna which was light with very low wind resistance so as not to mechanically overload the mount. Preliminary examination looks fine.

The construction seems fine. The top element rattles in the bottom, but a tweak with a pair of pliers should cure that.
Haven't had a chance to load it up yet. I would have appreciated a bit more puality in the tuning wire and plugs, but for the money, its a deal.Lire l'avis complet...

A decent whip

This antenna is all-in-one, serving all bands. From analysis, the SWR drops sharply at resonant frequencoes. It works better on 20m, 15m, 10m, with SWR readings at 1.8.
