Effective way to avoid flying ice chips.
I've gotten to really like this type of ice cube tray. You don't need to twist it, smack it, etc. The cubes come out whole, not with lots of ice chips flying all over. My only 'complaint' is that the cube space is smaller than I expected, having several other examples. Nonetheless, still a good product.Lire l'avis complet...

Ice Cube trays
These are well made ice cube trays. (From initial inspection.) Not wear tested for long. It appears that water takes much longer to freeze in these. The trays & cubes are smaller than what standard trays offer. If you use a lot of ice cubes... These aren't for you. They are also difficult to pop out the ice. I wish I had gone with regular trays. Better than the average bear, but...
I got tired of the ones from the dollar store breaking all the time. These seemed like the solution...
Well, yes and no.
I had one that came with a hairline crack. After ONE use, it cracked, but also the fellow used it twisted the tray somewhat. That little twist blew out that hairline crack. ONE TRAY DEad after one use.
AND WHY DID HE TWIST IT SLIGHTLY? Because it's a biatch to get the cubes out by pushing on them. You have to be Arnold Fricken Schwarzenegger.
So I found that if you run some warm water over the bottom and leave them sit for a few minutes, they comes out much easier. Just be careful not to let that water get on the cubes because then they all stick together.
Of my three remaining trays, one has a leaking boot (the rubber bottom part). I wondered how long they would last. Certainly better than the dollar store junk, but not the greatest invention either. That honor still belongs to peanut butter.Lire l'avis complet...

Small-sized cubes were a surprise.
Interesting design. Hard plastic on the top, but the cube compartments are silicone. Push on the bottom of each cube for an easy release. Don't overfill or you will need to let it sit and melt a bit before you can release them. Cubes are half the normal size. Rubber bottom allows easy individual ice cube access
Pros: Rubber ice tray bottom allows for easy removal of individual ice cubes Cons: The lids are a little loose when attached to the tray. Good quality, value, would purchase again and recommend.

Affordable lightweight trays
I really like these trays, the only reason I didn't give it a 5 was that when stacked together it takes quite awhile for the water to freeze. I think the silicone on the bottom must act like an insulator. When separated they freeze fine but my desire was to be able to stack them together.
The cubes come out very easily, the lids are a little loose, it would be nice if they made a tighter seal. They were very affordable and I will continue to use them.Lire l'avis complet...

Where have they been all my life.
These ice trays are so nice I wonder how I got along without them in the past. I love that they have covers and can set on top of each other without freezing to each other. And the silicone bottoms make it really nice too. You can just pop the cubes out with no fuss. Easy as can be.

Best Ice Tray
This is the third ice tray I bought finally don’t have to search for a better one , this is by far the best ice tray, I got a hard tray it was hard to get the ice out then I got a Silicone tray that spill water everywhere, Now I have this ice tray I don’t need to worry about spilling or hard to get ice out. Works great
Their on the small side but, there's 4 trays with lids. So, there's plenty.
Says, "dishwasher safe." Make me believe that their more durable than others.
