More important than the 3000, less important than the 60
The 2000xl would classify either as the best or the worst of Akai, but it mostly boils down either who is advocating the machine and other times it comes down to the machine itself, aka the "build quality". The best MPC model is arguable yet vain between the 60, 3000, and the 2000(xl). That point aside, the 2000xl is undeniably one of them and nobody can actually disagree with you if bring this machine up. Rather, they can only argue about where it ranks.Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent sound design library option for a variety of production environments
This disc is a solid complement to your growing production sound library.
The shining section of this AKAI Legacy Sound Design is the pristine percussion (the hi-hats, the cymbals, the ethnic percussion, the claps). They are clean and broadcast quality.
The drum (kicks and snares) are good for 80's period production pieces - like Prince's Purple Rain era.
There are over 2,000 sound files, which is ample for any competitive songwriter | producer | designer.Lire l'avis complet...
