Been using these factory oil filters with Motul fluid on my 2014 STI with a built engine for over two years. Everything has been great, and good piece of mind that the engine keeps running healthy. Too small
Make sure folks understand that these filters are teeny-tiny and probably too small for any oil change interval more than a couple thousand miles. Much smaller than than the ones you’ve been using for years. And no Subaru markings or part #’s on the filters. Lire l'avis complet...

Subie filter

Factory Filters
I use the factory filters to maintain a level of consistency and hope that the quality is as good or better then after market filters. So far never have had a issue with one.

OEM parts better and cheaper than Auto parts store
Advance auto salesman upset me. So I decided to go OEM Subaru parts and it ended up costing less for three filters then if I bought three of their stock items I will be doing this from now on.

There is no substitute
