Having dismissed the need for a travelling laptop which doubles up as a phone I settled for a product that focused on talking and text. If that is what you want then this phone is a serious contender - good battery life, easy to use key pad for the larger hand but not unwelcome for the more dainty amongst us. Nokia 2720

I bought this because my other mobile phone (a Nokia 1100, which I had had for about 6 years) had recently died. I wanted another Nokia because I thought that it would operate in the same manner as my old one, so I wouldn't have to re-learn how to use it. This was mainly true. However, I hated the menu icons, having to access them first before actually knowing what they meant, a backward step in my opinion (I had been used to text headings, which are unambiguous). Next, when I first tried to write a text message, the screen first locked up, then went black. Nothing I did would bring it back to life. The only way I could get the phone working again was to remove and then refit the battery. Of course, my almost finished text message was gone! Eventually, I sent the message. At least, I think I did. There was no message saying 'message sent'. It wasn't in 'sent items'. I couldn't find it anywhere. Apparently, you have to select wether you want to save messages that you send. Even though I was able to do that, there was still no indication that the message had actually been sent. Another backward step. When reading a message, the screen displays about five and a half lines of text, so you have to go backwards and forwards a couple of times, to make sense of the last line showing on the screen. ANOTHER backwards step. All in all, I hated this phone. It may look quite nice, it does have a useful clock which is visible without opening the phone (it is a folder) and readable without spectacles, and it has a camera, but I'm glad I am now rid of it.Lire l'avis complet...

Great little phone with email very easy to use.

Im a bit of a ludite as far as technology is concerned so I stick to easy use stuff. This phone meets all my criteria for ease of use very simple to use bigish buttons for thick fingers, easy emailing with this which is a big plus. where are my ring tones

I bought the Nokia 2720 fold as I liked it's looks and compactness. It is not heavy and fits in my pocket with no problem and suited my requirment as a fairly simple phone.
I like the clear screen and the easily depressed buttons and also the long battery life.
What I have found after a couple of weeks is that I have lost all the ring tones, alert tones and themes and would be pleased if anybody could get them back for me.Lire l'avis complet...

This phone meets my needs in oh so many ways - and it is so easy to use

Excellent mobile - delighted with it - great design - big keys for big fingers hitting letters and numbers - brilliant software with practical memory facility. Like the loudspeaker and the overall flexibility. Had one before and after it split at the hinged area ......... tried others but they did not match up! Main down side for me is the slight weakness and perceived vulnerability at the hinged fold. Careful handling hopefully will help preserve longer life!
I often wonder why so many new phones do not provide larger key areas and the kind of positive elements of this model. Well done Nokia - a great little practical phone........and if this one breaks I will try and find someone selling another. Please bring out a similar new model.Lire l'avis complet...

Dependable phone with lots of Memory.

This cell phone was shipped in excellent condition ( no scratches on screen or body of tablet) and works just like new. It has been well-refurbished and is as dependable as a new one. The loudspeaker is very good volume and enables even those a little hard of hearing to hear very well. It has the great advantage of not being bulky and is a pleasure to carry on oneself. Very nice simple phone

I bought this for my mother because it's an uncomplicated phone that performs its primary function (you can talk to people with it!) very well. I've always liked the flip phone design because it protects the keys from accidental use, you can answer calls just by unfolding it, the keys are a good size, and the earpiece and microphone are a good distance apart. I bought this phone as I was fed up with all of the gimmics on my latest upgraded phone which had been hoisted upon me by my mobile provider. All I wanted was a functional phone with a simple menu. This phone is easy to use, looks great and has a keyboard I can see and use without the need for a tooth pick!

Not a smart phone but delivers calls & texts perfectly,

Not the latest tecnology but excellent for texts & calls. Compact, fits into jeans pocket easily & is protected by the folding screen when out gardening or working. I used its predecessor for almost four years & only gave it up when the keys wore out. I bought this model as my husband has one plus a neighbour & we are very pleased with our phones. Xmas gift

I chose the nokia because it's a flip phone threfore not easy to accidently dial
