Nice rugged phone pouch!

Very well made. The size could be just a touch bigger in all directions as my Samsung J7 just fits and it is a snug fit. Also I wish the belt "clip" while it is extremely sturdy and secure was just a simple pass through like a very wide belt loop. That would allow it to fit closer to the body-less apt to snag on stuff, and I believe that it would be slightly more comfortable. I also have the horizontal model from the same manufacture. It has the same minor problems as I have with this vertical one. I do like the this vertical one much better.

The veridical case is much better than the horizontal one. It is / was a bit on the tight side so I stretched it with a block of wood slightly larger (+1/2") than my phone. Its fine now.Lire l'avis complet...

Inadequate size (see above comments)

I am disappointed with this purchase.

I already own one Nite-ize cell phone “pouch" which has an “expired” hook-and-loop velcro closure and desired to replace it with an identical unit. Unfortunately, the one sent to me is not as deep as my original pouch and therefore should be returned for credit.

My cell phone is a Samsung Galaxy S9+, with an Otter “Defender" protective case and it fits very well into my original pouch. This new Nite-ize case that was sent is not as deep as the original and therefore the closure does not fully engage (the cover flap only extends about halfway with the velcro not fully engaging). I asked my companion about just re-sewing the velcro part with new velcro, but she told me that velcro is nearly impossible to sew on a home-style sewing machine, and that trying to replace it would ruin the old Nite-ize case. I purchased the new one based on the advertised size, but it does not fit the phone.

My Galaxy S9+ phone’s dimensions in the Otter “defender” case is: 3-1/2” wide, 6-3/4” tall, and 1/2” thick. The new Nite-ize pouch you sent me will not accommodate the phone in its “Defender” case as the depth is insufficient for the phone in it protective case.Lire l'avis complet...

Great Product

I've used Nite Ize products for nearly 10 years and swear by them. Their cellphone cases stand up to abuse and hold together. One of their cases lasts me 3-5 years in the strenuous work I do. They don't show dirt and continue to look sharp. I've had several inquiries - some from strangers - who walk up and ask where I got my case. Used them before. Would again.

I’ve used the brand before several times and get reasonable mileage. I’m a Chimneysweep and roll around on roofs and floors, attics and crawl spaces regularly. Mostly it’s on my hip throughout; mindfulness is cautioned if out pruning fruit trees in sloppy weather.
I, like other reviewers was seeking and bemoan the fact that the magnetic closure is no longer available. The Velcro is loud in delicate situations.

Great case for the price. This case seems to be made well and the clip is pretty versatile. There is also a small pocket on the inside that could potentially hold some money or credit card.

Best case I have used

I have used this brand and style for case for about 10 years. The belt clip has not broken off so I can use it for 2 to 3vyears before wearing it out.

nice product,can't use it

It is a well made holster and should last a long time. My only complaint is that it claimed to be extra tall but my samsung phone barely fits in it and the cover will barely close.

The toughest

This is my 2nd nitize product only because my new phone is too big for the old one that is far from worn out and far exceeded what I expected it would be judging by the price.
